Much to Jackson's dismay, I'm back home in Florida. He brought me to the airport with Dalton and Tanner. But now I'm with Corbin and Ellie at the studio. They've been telling me about how their dog, Maize, had puppies.
"She had puppies 5 weeks ago and you guys didn't tell me?!" I ask them, pretending to be offended.
"We're sorry, love. You were busy planning the trip with Dalton to surprise the other half of the Thomas twins." Ellie tells me, an apologetic smile on her face. "Babe, go get her present." She turns to the blond. He nods and gets up from here we're sitting on the floor. He heads over to his office and brings out a large box.
"What'd you guys get me a present for?" I question with confusion.
"It's a thank you for helping me with the proposal." Corbin explains, setting the box in front of me. I look at booth of them for a second and they both nod for me to open it. I slowly take the lid off to have a cute little Rottweiler puppy jump on my lap and attack me with kisses.
"Oh my god! Awe, you guys!" I exclaim as a laugh erupts from me.
"She's all yours, Norah." Ellie grins at me. "Pick a name for her."
"Um... I like Pebble." I tell them petting the sweet puppy. She calms down and lays in my lap. "I'm gonna FaceTime Jackson and show him." I look at my two friends.
"Can we say hi?" Corbin wonders, eager to speak to the guy who I've spoken so much about.
"I guess so." I playful roll my eyes and grab my phone, going to Jackson's contact.
Calling Jax<3...
"Hello beautiful." Jackson says as he answers the FaceTime.
"Jax! Corbin and Ellie got me a present!" I tell him happily, practically beaming. He smiles at my childish excitement.
"Yeah? What'd you get, baby?" He asks me and the new pet name makes me blush.
"Her name is Pebble." I answer him, showing my boyfriend the puppy in my lap.
"Awe, she's cute Faye." He says and I move the phone back up to my face. "But you're still cuter." Corbin and Ellie snicker at Jackson's words.
"Lemme talk to him." Corbin pleads, Ellie rolls her eyes at her fiancé.
"Jax, Corbin wants to talk to you." I tell him with a laugh.
"Okay, I'm cool with that." Jackson nods and I hand my blond friend the phone.

Now back at my apartment with Pebble, I sit on the couch with my laptop and Pebble sleeping beside me. I go on amazon and order some things for the puppy. Corbin and Ellie had also given me dog food and bowls for her. My phone goes off and I pick it up to see a text from Jackson.

I smile at my phone before putting it down and going to my audio files on my laptop. I haven't told anyone but Corbin and Ellie that I've been working on my EP. Ellie helps me record the songs and mixing them. So she knows of the project and Corbin has always been my prerelease critic. He lets me know what he thinks of the songs and if there should be any adjustments. I already have a handful of the songs recorded. I'm finalizing the lyrics of the last two.

I grin as I type up the final line of the song. When I play Tanner this song for the first time, I'll have to record his reaction to it. Tanner doesn't cry often but I have a feeling this will get some tears out of him. I pull up the document with the last song to finish those lyrics as well.

Happy with the finished product, I close my laptop and set it aside. I pull Pebble onto my lap and wait for Jackson's caller ID to pop up on my phone screen.
