It happens to be our older cousin, Molayne. He gives us both a warm welcome. I only shake his hand, despite him offering me even more affection than that. I say he gives it to Sophocles. He respects my wishes and reintroduces himself to the next of the group. "As you know, I'm Molayne. You've all come to view the minior again, right?"

"Right!" Everyone says in unison. Soon enough, we head down to Starfall Hill. Although, Sophocles brings our Minior's shell with him this time. What is he doing this time..? "You'll be very careful with that when we're out there. Won't you?" "Of course." "This is my friend after all! I can't wait to see her again!" After hearing these words, and seeing the smile on his face... It causes me to cringe a little... I'm afraid. I'm afraid that all of that is going to go to waste.. all of that joy. Once he finds out again.

Sure enough, we arrive just in time to see the Minior fall from the sky, gracing their beautiful colored cores upon the earth. Each one of them are so unique and special. Especially to both of us. I take a deep breath and lock Sophocles's hand with mine. "Sis..?" He asks me, looking up at me troubled. "It's nothing.. why don't you go find your friends then..?"

"I guess I will! I can't wait to see her again! " The mentioning of "her" breaks my heart even more. He's remembered time and time again that she isn't a part of this earth anymore. I mean, it's good for him to forget... But I also think it's good for him to know the truth and not live in delusion... I'm stuck between the two point-of-views. Either way, all I want is for him to be happy.

Sophocles picks up the shell of that late girl, and walks over to Minior. Lana looks over at me and asks, "What is he doing?" "He's probably just going to see his friends!" "But.. aren't they.." "I know..." I look up to the sky and whisper "May you and him be doing well tomorrow too..." As I close my eyes, a tear falls from both of them... I can't believe it. I'm already getting emotional. Nothing bad has even happened yet! What am I doing!?

Before I knew it, I felt another hand in mine for comfort. But this time, it wasn't Sophocles. It was Lana. "I'm here for you, Breezie." As embarrassed and love struck as I am, I must keep my composure. "Thank you, Lana..."

Sophocles isn't having any luck with his "friends." "So, you're telling me that none of you recognize this shell? At all? Wait.. what happened to some of the top part of the shell..? Why is it gone?" A hint of realization hits my face. I know that we buried a part of Minior's shell next to some flowers on the hill a while back when the entire incident happened in the first place. What do I do? I can't let him see that.

Even if none of the Minior recognize the shell, they do seem to take a liking to Sophocles! They're surrounding him! Oh, that's right. When stardust gets in the atmosphere, at least the particles that aren't eaten already by Rayquaza, fall to the ground or go into space to form brand new minior life.. So it's possible... that those have the memory of our Minior...

The memory of those land-stars...

A few minutes later, the moment comes. The moment where Sophocles snaps out of his delusion and gets exposed back to his harsh reality...  A chill runs down my spine. Beads of sweat start running down my face. My face also grows pale. As if I was hypnotized.

The minior all start to depart again. One of them after another vanishing, or not to sugar coat it DYING in front of us... I've seen this time and time again in my mind-scape. This is nothing new to me, but it might as well be for Sophocles. The more of them that fade away and reach their demise.. the more horror I can see growing on my little brother's face as he seems to uncover the forbidden memory. Soon after that, he is met with tears. He gently puts the shell next to him. So he doesn't damage it during his breakdown.

"I'm scared.. why did things have to end up like that again!?" I hear him cry out. With each word he says, the more it really tugs at my heartstrings. I of course, am not going to be useless this time. I am going to help somehow! So, with that, I go up to him and get him into a firm embrace. He seems to have the expression that I did when I had my realization.. just with a really bad ugly cry added to the mix.

It hurts. It really hurts to see him hurt like this over and over again. It's sort of like I'm living in a loop of some sort. But.. will I be able to stop that loop? Especially since I finally took some sort of action now? God, if only.

Molayne is just now realizing the commotion, and heads over to the rest of the group. "Everyone, I think it's time to go back inside. We've had our fair share of Minior viewing tonight haven't we?" Everyone nods in agreement. I'm still holding Sophocles in my arms, somehow carrying him. But, with my free hand, I let Lana hold it. It's almost as if we were meant to be... I almost HAVE to ask her out now... Maybe later. It doesn't seem like the best idea at the moment.

As we head in, Sophocles sees the grave that we made for the minior all of those years ago. That seems to set him off even more. I can see anger on his face as well...

Chances of him getting to sleep tonight without any complications or any help is like the odds of it snowing on Melemele Island. It's 0. But, I will be gladly there to help him! I'm not going to be a failure tonight! But, I do have one more wish for tonight.

...

May tomorrow be better.
