THE FAIR

Later that day, the class decided that while they were there, they should visit the fair. A whole lot of rides and activities and lots of food for the students to enjoy and let loose since it was only the second day of being in paris. Katsuki grumbled as he hated being in public with the so called losers he would call them. He stayed in his little friend group of Mina, Kirishima, Denki, and Sero as he followed them around almost like a lost puppy

Katsuki shoved his hands in his pockets, scowling as he trailed behind his so-called "friends" through the bustling fairgrounds. The incessant chatter and laughter from his classmates was already getting on his nerves, and he had to resist the urge to just turn around and leave them all behind and head back to the hotel.

As they approached a towering Ferris wheel, Denki's eyes lit up. "Dude, we have to go on that!" he exclaimed, already dragging Sero towards the line.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, his frown deepening. "Tch, like hell I'm riding that piece of crap," he grumbled, making no effort to hide his disdain.

Kirishima shot him a playful nudge. "Aw, come on, Bakugou! It'll be fun," he urged, flashing that infuriating grin of his.

Katsuki scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't do 'fun'," he retorted, glaring at the redhead.

As the group began to make their way towards the Ferris wheel, Katsuki lagged behind, resigning himself to simply watching from a distance. His eyes scanned the bustling fairgrounds, half-hoping, half-dreading the prospect of running into a certain feisty [h/c] girl once more.

He couldn't quite shake the memory of their last encounter, the way her fiery gaze had captivated him, even as she hurled insults his way. There was just something about her that had piqued his interest, and he couldn't help but wonder if fate would bring them together again.

Even as he tried to convince himself that he couldn't care less, a small part of him couldn't help but hope that their paths would cross once more.

Unnoticed to Katsuki, the [h/c] was at a food stall with her own friends, laughing and joking about memories that seemed long ago. She stood in line as she scanned the menu with her [e/c] eyes, having them light up as she saw one of her favorite foods. "Oh yummm!" she exclaimed as she told her friend who was kind enough to pay for them all to order that for her. Her friend, Marley only chuckled as she told the order to the food stall woman and took her other friends, Hannah, and Eliza's orders.

"That'll be $46." The cashier said and Marley groaned while digging through her wallet and paying with a distaste on her face. "God fair food is always so expensive." she groaned to her three friends and [name] smirked. "You offered! Don't complain now! I got most of the rides covered." She claimed as she flashed her money and smirked wiggling her eyebrows.

As his classmates chattered and laughed around him, Katsuki found himself tuning them out, his focus entirely on the crowd. And then, suddenly, there she was - standing in line at a food stall, chatting animatedly with her friends.

He couldn't help but be drawn to her, the way her eyes lit up as she gazed at the menu, the way she playfully teased her friend about paying. There was a carefree, joyful energy about her that he found himself inexplicably drawn to, nothing like the way she acted around him.

Katsuki hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether he should approach her or simply continue on his way. A part of him wanted to continue their earlier banter, to see that fiery spark in her eyes once more. But another part of him - the part that didn't want to admit he cared at all - urged him to just walk away.

In the end, his curiosity won out, and he found himself slowly making his way towards the food stall, his eyes never leaving her figure. He wasn't sure what he was going to say, but he knew he couldn't pass up this chance encounter.
