Affair

Zayed was little excited to meet her love of life 'his Jennan. He waited for her in a restaurant and as always she came on time.

Jennan showed him that her book has been published and said she had another good news to share. Zayed was waiting for her that it might related to her book that it might got 'booker prize' afterall her writings is amazing.

As he look at her with expectations. She found Jennan looking behind him intensely.

When Zayed followed his eyes he was astonished to see Mahra in a beautiful kurti sitting in a far round table with her girlfriends. She seems at the time very care free. Zayed found her attractive because he never saw her smiling delightly. After their marriage there was no day were she was smiling like that.

One of her friends look at Zayed and told Mahra, once she turned her face he turned himself facing Jennan.

Ignoring Mahra he ask Jennan about the piece of news she wanted to share in an attempt to continue the conversation. However Mahra's presence disturb him.

Jennan put her hand in her bag and brought a card more look like a wedding card. As she hand it to Zayed his eyes widen when he saw it was a wedding card of none but 'his Jennan.

"What is this ?" He asked hoping what he is thinking is not true.

"What it looks like?" She asked.

"Wedding card?" Zayed asked

"Yes MY wedding card" she said with a bright smile which reaching her eyes.

"Do you remember a cousin of mine whom I had a fat crush in college days ?

"Yeah the one whom I loathe? " Zayed asked most annoyed.

"Yeah for no reason " she stated.

"Whatever " Zayed shrugged his shoulder.

"Last time his mother came with his proposal and said he was a CEO of 'publishing company ' .

"Mama and dad asked my concern and you know I was more than okay afterall you also got married and it's my turn."

"Why you called me ?" Zayed asked as he lost interest in talking with her. As he felt betrayed but he knows Jennan never show interest to him and always consider him as her bff but it was him who was head over heels as he was about to propose he got married to Mahra.

He thought after his father get well he divorce her and marry Jennan. But now it's impossible.

"What you mean by why I called you , ofcourse to inform you and invite you and your wife for my wedding. And I am thinking to come to your house to invite your wife personally"

"No need to come I will bring her " he said and stand abruptly to leave.

As he turn he came face to face with Mahra as she don't look they way she was smiling happily. Now she look more hurt. Afterall she found her husband with a woman no women will like the sight.

As Mahra entered the house she lost the appetite and when she saw her husband she stand she looks like she is ready to rip anyone who comes her way.

"How dare you?" She asked him with gritted teeth and with a tight grip of his collar.Zayed was astonished to see her boldness.

"She called me to give me this " saying that he throws the wedding card at her face.

She flinched at his sudden out burst. "You must be happy that she's getting married and it seems like your prayers has been answered."
