For anyone dealing with the past and finally feeling upbeat about the future over the past year I learned a lot and I want to share. If it is something of hurt that happened to you. Take all the items and put them away. You don't have to completely vanish them but get them out of sight so there out of mind. Don't keep something you can continue to see. It'll just reopen the wound. The best corse of action is to get a box out everything in it and put it out of sight. That goes for the same digitally. People can see if you still have attachment by what you keep on your social and not only do they know that but you do to. So take everything set it to private or even archive it. Memories are memories and you don't have to throw it all away unless your ready to make that step and if you are then your willing to admit it's done and over and repress it in your mind for good and say you never cared anyway. If not then just put it away. It's like they say, you can't heal in the space you were harmed. Meaning you can't heal when you still have everything around you to remind you of the good which follows with the bad. You don't have to go and throw it all away. Just tuck it away and leave it behind. One day you'll see it and maybe laugh or you'll feel nothing for it and burn it you know? Just take care of you and do it one step at a time. Reach inner peace and your strength will come ten fold.
