"LUCKY, please calm down." One of the managers tried to get a hold of the model, that my grandfather had talked to me about.

"This is not working, Jho. I want to quit, I don't want to continue anymore, this company has no capability in promoting me effectively!" Her manager that seems to be called, Jho, sighed.

"I know it's frustrating, Lucky. Pero, please bear with us, you'll eventually get the fame you want. Let's focus on modeling and we will go to the marketing department and have you suggest things para mas maging effective yung pag-promote sayo. So, please.. for now, let's go na sa photoshoot and have your make-up done." With the things that Jho have stated, Maloi, Lucky, or Monami, whatever she's called, seems to calm down and agreed with her manager.

I pondered a bit, I come up with the conclusion on how I could help the model but first I must consider my own problem. When I saw the director, I took the cups of coffee I've bought for the entire team and smiled at him sweetly.

"Sir, hello. I am Mikhaela Jimenea, a marketing officer you should hire." He looked at me swiftly and took one of the cups and then proceed into ignoring me.

Oh, the nerve.

I set aside my personal feelings, I tried to swerve my way and even get the favor of the other staffs and they seem swooned over with the coffee I provided... I mean, who would reject a good cup of coffee, right?

"Lucky, your poses should improve a bit. You call yourself a model?!" The director suddenly screamed while browsing the photos of the model. The photographer seems to be so incompetent though and one thing's for sure it wasn't the model's fault.

Lucky seemed down and Jho's comforting her and that's my cue.

"Hi, direk." I tried to make my way sa kanya, "I know that you're a bit.. I mean you're a whole lot disappointed sa shots but maybe I could help you with it and if you're satisfied... Please secure me a position in this team," I bargained.

He looked at me, up and down. I almost gave in to the urge of punching him for being disrespectful, but this is for papa. "Gusto mo mag-model?"

"Ay, ayaw, no, nada." I even formed my arms into a cross just to exaggerate my sheer disapproval. "But... I can be a photographer."

"Hmm, fine. What was your name again?

"Mikhaela," He nodded.

"Fine, impress me. And if I am, you'll be the marketing assistant... no, scratch that. I'll give you the marketing head officer position and you'll be in charge of that model's upcoming projects and promotions. It's a lot of work but this company pays good." I nodded.

I actually agree with him, generous lang talaga family ko. Generous si grandpa. I looked at the model but diverted my gaze to the photographer, "You're incompetent, you must be confident with your passion." I advised, "Let me borrow your camera for I didn't bring mine." She obliged and I thanked her.

I adjusted the lenses, enough to capture Lucky's physique, I looked at her in the lenses of the camera and something didn't sit right with me, "Change her clothes, please." She looked at me.

"Is something wrong with the way I look?"

"No, you're beautiful. But the clothes are trash, bilis." I called the staffs, and they went to where the model is, I suggested a color and they do as told. I was satisfied and guided Lucky with her poses as well.

A photographer has to direct and connect with her model, they don't just order for them to strike a pose, sometimes you need a little push and guide them. So, you'll meet halfway to where you wanted the message of her fashion has to be.

"Perfect, you're so beautiful, dear." I blurted out that made her blush and look away and thank God, I captured it.

It ended up being the best shot and the shot that secured me a full-time job.
