Chapter 3: Social Media

"REALLY? I'll have my own instagram, twitter, but no facebook?" I chuckled at the amusement in Lucky's eyes.

"You'll have an official facebook page, ang team ni Jho ang bahala diyan. Every week ka dapat nagpo-post ng photos mo from shoot para mas lalong maging wide yung makakarecognize sayo, let alone new sponsors, pero focus tayo sa insta at twitter," Jho was busy jotting down notes but I stopped her. "Don't worry sweetheart, I have a pdf about the instructions. Listen to me lang,"

"Copy, Mikhs." She fixed her glasses and hugged Lucky who's focused on listening to me too.

To be honest, sobrang gulat na gulat as in shock and surprised ako. Oa. Kaya naman pala hindi na-eexpose si Lucky, wala siyang kahit na anong social media, yung photos niya naka-post lang sa account ng company, siyempre masasapawan siya ng ibang artists and events.

The number one goal today is to promote her and to widen her followers. "Start by creating stan accounts, Jho, with your team and talk about Lucky with a certain hashtag, of course use #Monami because ayaw natin magkaroon ng problema sa noodles." Jho laughed and Maloi squinted her eyes at me.

"Yung accounts po ba.."

"Make sure the stan accounts are verified, big, wide, connected. Our target market are teenagers and people close to our age, kaya make sure to use wise terms and share stories about Monami." Jho nodded.

"I heard you donated your whole salary to charities," I looked at Lucky and she just nodded. "Use that too but of course be careful kung paano niyo i-woword out kasi baka sabihin she's just doing that for clout," Jho nodded again.

"Don't worry, may articles about that kaso lang natabunan kaagad ng mga politika," I nodded to her statement.

Pagkauwi na pagkauwi namin galing sa paresan last week, ay inaral ko ng mabuti ang market, and since Maloi's originally an artist, it won't hurt if we'll start establishing her fandom and name sa idol culture. Buti na lang rin ay walang problema sila direk sa mga desisyon ko and even told me to do whatever I want.

"We should start calling platforms with live options and have you talk and interact with potential fans," Lucky gulped.

"I'm not good with words, what if I mess up?"

"You won't, just be yourself. People will love you." I pat her head, "I'll give you a pdf of what you can do and not do during live sessions."

"Wait, hindi ba maghahanap pa tayo ng platforms?" She asked and I nodded. "So, saan ako maglalive?"

"Sa instagram mo,"

"Wala pa akong instagram," I scrunched my nose.

"Then make one na," She smiled widely again and clapped.

"Jho help me with my username please!"

"Mikhs, ako rin ba pwede?" Jho asked with puppy eyes, pagbabawalan ko sana siya pero I can't say no to those eyes.

"Pwede pero professional account, manager ka pa rin ni Lucky, mahirap na. Pareho kayo ng restrictions, no buts." Jho cheered at nag-unahan na silang dalawa sa couch.

I talked to the marketing deparment about the plan and they're starting to purchase big accounts. Now, I'm calling someone I know.
