"-No Kingsley. We were actually worried sick! How did you even got Clemmie to agree to this?" Perrine was stressing out and needed answers, but was also relieved to see Kingsley and Clementine back safe.

"Okay! It was my fault, I'm sorry Perrine.." Kingsley admitted and apologized. Clasping their hands together and looking at Perrine with apologetic puppy eyes.

Perrine sighed and said, "You better start explaining yourself. Clemmie included." Clementine then turned her head towards Perrine at the mention of their name. They are currently comforting and cuddling Cole on the couch. Clementine nodded slowly.

"-And stop looking me with those eyes, Kingsley." Perrine remarked but Kingsley continued to stare at Perrine with it. "Go on, explain now." Perrine then indicated Kingsley to start. "Alright, it went like this-"

-Hours ago-

"Clemmie! Here catch it!" Kingsley said as he sat on a branch of an apple tree and threw Clemmie an apple. Clemmie then caught the apple with both hands, "Got it! " they rubbed it on her sleeves before taking a bite to it. Kingsley jumped down and landed on the ground. The two played outside for some while, running like normal little kids and, as per usual, were going on a little adventure with Kingsley. They went to the forest which the 4 of them usually hangs out at least once or twice a week. Today, Kingsley went curious, since Perrine wasn't with them especially.

"Hey Clemmie."

"Hm?"

"How about we go on a different route this time? That way, maybe?" Kingsley asked, excitement and curiosity all over him. Clementine was also curious about the idea, but hesitated for a moment.

"... Alright! But we'll only just take a quick walk since Perrine and Cole aren't with us."

"Haha, Perrine and Cole would definitely be jealous of our new adventure without them!" Kingsley laughed, followed by Clemmie.

"Cole, please call Clemmie and Kings. Tell them it's almost time for supper." Perrine asked as they placed the plates down on the table where the four of them have their meals.

"Alright." Cole then went outside to call the other two. Cole walked to where Kingsley and Clemmie's usual place to play, but to their surprise, he didn't saw them there. Cole went looking for them around the area but still no one. Eventually, they went back inside.

"Perrine, they aren't in their usual spot." Cole informed, frowning his eyebrows.

"What do you mean? They didn't inform us that they'll be going somewhere though." Perrine says in confusion. Cole remained silent. Perrine went outside to see for themselves, and after a few moments they came back.
"They really aren't here... How about we go to the village, maybe they're there?" Perrine suggested to which Cole agreed.
"Okay, let's do that."

Kingsley and Clemmie entered the other side of the forest. Both were amazed by the unique plants they never seen before.
"Woahh.. Look at that mushroom!" Kingsley exclaimed. They were about to touch it when Clemmie slapped his hands before they do.

"Don't touch it Kings, it may be poisonous." Clemmie warned.

"It also MAY be not."

"We are not risking it, kings."

Kingsley huffed and pouted, then something caught its eyes. "Look, Clemmie!! Let's go over there." They then grabbed Clementine's arm and dragged her with him in the direction that Kingsley pointed and saw something interesting.

"Don't you think we're going too far?" Clementine asked, aware of the fact that it is a bit far than intentioned.

"Mhh.. No. Just come on, dont be a loser!!" Kingsley snorted.
