Lex jerked awake as her phone rang, reaching out she grabbed it looking at the screen, “Shit....” She muttered under her breath before answering it. “Morning Frankie.....”

“Afternoon more like it,” Frankie said with a chuckle. “Just checking in on ya, seeing if everything’s alright. Figured you would be home by now.”

“Yeah, everything’s fine,” Lex replied, trying to stifle a yawn. “Just, uh, had a late night is all.”

“Yeah Valentino called me early this morning ing to let me know you were staying.”

“One of his girls was nice enough to let me crash on her couch.” She bit her lip as Vox awoke and slowly kissed down her back, “I will be home in time for the meeting at 5 I promise.”

Frankie laughed. “No worries, Lex. Just make sure you’re there by five, alright? We have a lot to go over today.”

Vox continued to kiss down Lex’s back, causing her to squirm slightly.

“Mhm, I’ll be there. Don’t worry about me, Frankie. I can handle myself,” Lex replied, trying to maintain a professional tone despite Vox’s distractions. Vox’s kisses were starting to make their way to the sensitive spot at the base of her spine, causing her to shiver slightly.

Frankies tone changed, sensing that something was amiss. “Alright, Lex. Just remember, the meeting is about the potential merger with the Greed Ring’s underground trade networks. Be sharp, got it?”

Vox’s hand slowly moved up Lex’s body, causing her to catch her breath. “Mhm, merger with the Greed Ring, trade networks... Got it,” Lex's thoughts were becoming increasingly clouded as Vox's touch ignited a fire within her. "I'll be there Five o'clock sharp," she managed to gasp out, her voice barely above a whisper now.

“You can catch a ride with Valentino and Vox.” Frankie paused, “I can call them and let them know.”

Frankie’s words barely registered through the haze of lust that had overtaken Lex. “I have to go to the studio anyway...,” she murmured, her breath hitching as Vox’s fingers trailed across her bare skin, leaving trails of fire in their wake. “I’ll see you at the meeting...”

Vox chuckled as Lex ended the call, “What’s wrong love.....” He dipped a finger into her wet heat, “You’re a little jumpy.....”

Lex’s body arched, her head rolling back as Vox’s fingers teased her mercilessly. Her eyes fluttered closed, her breath coming in short gasps. “V-Vox...stop...”, she stammered, though her tone was more of a plea than a command. “I... I need to get to the studio...”

Vox pulled his fingers away reluctantly, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. “Later then...” He whispered, his voice dripping with suggestive promises. “After the meeting....”

...........

Frankie smiled, “So I have your support?”

Tony nodded, “Of course.... are we in agreement on the terms of the merger?”

Frankie looked over the papers for a few moments, “Looks like everything is in order..... I think this will be the start of a very lucrative partnership.”

Tony stood, offering his hand to Frankie. “I’m looking forward to it.... I think our talents have the potential to complement each other quite nicely..... now let’s go have that drink.”

Frankie nodded, “I have a bottle of scotch that would be perfect....” He looked to Alastor, Lex, Vox and Valentino, “Why don’t you all join us...” They made their way to Frankie's office, the decor a mix of modern luxury and ancient artifacts. Frankie poured the scotch, handing a glass to Tony before sitting behind his desk. "So, what do you think of our little arrangement, Lex, my dear?"
