This takes place after Reo has joined Shindou's and Igarashi's team, splitting from Kunigami completely. Feeling the guilt over being picked, he tries to work over his and Nagi's issues and Kunigami's departure.

Reo couldn't wipe that sentence from his mind. As he watched Shindou's mouth open. Igaguri seeming unbothered.
'Maybe it'd be better to head home now.' Reo felt his pulse grow heavy, his heart
feeling like it was gonna falter, stop beating at any second now.

He gave a subtle glance to Kunigami, noticing the seemingly defeated expression
on the hero's soft features, as sweat dripped down his left cheek.
'Fucksake.' He felt the hatred for Isagi building up again, but he knew it was
wrong, he swallowed it down.

He glared at Shindou, his eyes showing disinterest.
Shindou gave a small, mocking grin. "Purple top knot seems more worth it.."

'Eh.' Reo felt a lump in his throat increase. He looked at Kunigami.
"Kunigami, I-" he spoke under his breath, lost for words.

"Be quiet." Kunigami spoke, his voice low and unchanging. He took a glance
To Reo. "Don't pity me." His features seemed sharper, but his eyes were soft.

Reo stopped himself, lowering his head to look at the ground. His purple eyes
hiding a hint of irritation at being exactly what Isagi said.
