Minas POV

Hospital Room 103

"Morning".

I looked to my side.

"Chou?".

"What are you doing here?".

"I..well I had to make sure the person who did that to you wasn't going to come back and make sure they finished the job", she said.

"Police not investigating?".

"They are but they haven't found the culprit".

"Anyone else came?", I asked sitting up.

"No, but the nurse did call your friends".

"Not even my fiancee showed up?".

"No", she said.

I sighed.

"Who found me?".

"I did".

"Ew, I'm sorry you saw me like that", I said.

"It's fine not fine I was traumatised. You had blood everywhere and were so lifeless. Dont do that again. I was lucky to find you. You were one minute away from death you know".

I took her hand.

"I don't plan on to but can you let me stay tonight?".

"Here?".

"No silly your house", I said.

"Mina...".

"If my own fiancee didn't show up to me on the deathbed. I don't want to see him right now".

"Alright yeah if you are able to come home", She said.

I looked down at my hand. I really just did that. I'm holding her hand. The same hands that killed my parents.

Tzuyus POV

Dining Room

"Did you hear what I said?".

"What do you mean?", she asked.

"Well, you were first admitted to the hospital".

"No, I didn't hear anything what did you say?".

"Nothing that important I just apologise for my actions that morning", I said.

"Thats not the full truth is it. But I know you are very reserved about everything. You're gonna make me wait a year before I figure you out but you know what if it takes me a year then so be it".

"Do you believe in love?", she questioned, making me stop eating.

"No", I said.

"You fear being neglected that's why you push people way before they can get to close and do it to you".

"Thats not true I have no fear of that".

"Yes, you do. You are trying to push me away because you think I'll neglect you. Which I won't", she said.

"I dont believe that um sorry but I don't".

"Chou I save your life".

"And so did my ex-boyfriend! Every time I let someone in they turn out to be some person wanting to hurt me. You'll do it I know you will. Call an Uber and go home", I said annoyed.

My bedroom

"I don't know what that was at dinner but Im not going anywhere chou".

"I need you to just stop".

"Stop what?", she asked.

"This. Stop acting like you care your manipulating me".

"I--".

"I don't want to hear excuses you come to my company randomly, eager to be my sectary. You are never with your fiancee because he always seems to be a jerk and you are always in my house. Always so keen on me just throwing my trauma past at you".

"Keep pushing people away and you'll die alone", she said.

"I rather die alone. Now go home to your fiancee".

"I really hit the trigger, didn't I? I got a bit too close and you chose to use anger and  now acting like a dick to push me away from you well---"

She slapped me around the face.

"I quit and I'm walking out of your life right now. I'll walk out that front door and you'll never see me again", she said.

"Go ahead".

"And I'm going to sue you for allowing me to get injected to where I could have died".

"That's not fair I saved your life I nearly lost you! That's not a fair case!".

"Saved my life but you're pushing me away! You're a complicated person chou! I wasn't supposed to care about you, to feel weird things around you despite being engaged! but I do I get weird things around you and sometimes I just want to kiss your stupid face!".

"Maybe it is best you quit", I said.

"What I just--".

"I'll drive you home how about that".

She just pushed me out of the way and walked off. I sighed holding onto my heart.
