"I don't know where to start," Rain huffed folding his arms.
It was the next evening when he was looking down at the floor filled with papers spread everywhere. files thrown across the room. Whiskey glass shattered near the desk. Rain thanked God, he was not there to witness it or surely, he would end up having nightmares about it.
He has seen Jeremy getting angry though. And that's not a sight to see. Jeremy has been angry on Rain once. But he still got the nightmares about it. When the older man gets angry, he tends to throw things across the room randomly without watching what is smashing what.
To be honest, it's pretty scary. He got scared by the coldness in his eyes and the way he clenched his jaw or the way he breaths so intensely. Jeremy turns into a different person when anything gets under his skin.
And at that time, Rain would love to say away from him.
"He was really mad," he commented looking at the state of Jeremy's cabin, "Trashed everything."
Rain went out of the cabin and called a worker for the help as it was way too much work to clean the cabin before Jeremy comes back from his meeting.
"Yes sir," the cleaning lady said walking inside the cabin.
"Um, please help me clean this mess. There are some glass shattered over there please clean that up. I will arrange these papers," Rain said politely and she nodded.
They started to clean up the mess and within half an hour most of the work was done. and Rain asked the cleaning lady to leave or else Jeremy would yell at him again to let someone inside his cabin as he do not like anyone entering his cabin without his permission.
Rain kneeled down on the floor and slowly sat down on his heels arranging all the messed up papers.
"What got him angry?" he mumbled to himself grabbing a bunch of papers, "he was fine when I left."
He placed the papers according to serial numbers placing them into their respective files.
"He is scary when he is mad," he pouted a little remembering very well how Jeremy completely forgot who Rain was to him when he was told about certain things which was not true. That was the day they broke up.
Jeremy broke up with him abut he never let go off Rain.
Hence, Rain still working as his assistant.
Rain sighed and pulled himself up a little adjusting his position as his back was hurting again.
"It's fine Rain. You will be fine," he mumbled to himself before placing the papers into one specific file. He reached for another bundle but a pair of expensive shoes walked into his sight.
He looked up only to find Jeremy standing there. which got him a little nervous.
"Get me a drink," he said unbuttoning his blazer. Jeremy sat down on his chair running his long fingers through his black hair. He leaned back on his chair taking out his cigarette and light it up. He closed his eyes taking a drag before blowing out the smoke.
Rain who was making the drink at the private bar glanced at him watching how he was looking so stressed.
He wanted to ask if everything was fine but then he remembered he had no right to ask him anything anymore.
He picked up the glass and walked over the desk. He kept the glass on the table and Jeremy opened his eyes.
"Get out," he told him with plain tone and Rain nodded walking out.
He went to his cabin which was right in front of Jeremy's.
He sat down on the chair releasing a sighed.
