Every day, after Chace's shoots or work, he would surprise Tisch in the café with a stem of white rose. It became a habit for him, and he loved doing it. Sometimes, he would spend time at Tisch's place right after they closed the café to hang out and watch movies. Most nights, they would end up making out or talking about their future.
One evening, after a particularly long day at the café, Tisch and Chace decided to take a walk along the river. The night air was cool and refreshing, and the city lights reflected beautifully off the water.
"I love this place," Tisch said, gazing at the shimmering lights.
Chace smiled, "Me too. It's peaceful. And being here with you makes it even better."
They walked hand in hand, enjoying the tranquility and each other's company. They talked about their dreams, their fears, and their plans for the future. It was a perfect night, and Tisch felt happier than she had in a long time.
Another night, they decided to have a picnic in Tisch's living room. They spread a blanket on the floor, surrounded by pillows, and had a feast of sandwiches, cheese, and wine. They laughed and joked, feeding each other bites of food and stealing kisses in between.
"I could get used to this," Tisch said, her head resting on Chace's shoulder.
"Me too," Chace replied, kissing the top of her head.
They watched a romantic comedy, laughing at the cheesy lines and cuddling close. When the movie ended, they talked late into the night, discussing their favorite films and actors. Tisch found it easy to open up to Chace, and she loved how he listened to her, genuinely interested in what she had to say.
One Sunday afternoon, they decided to visit an art gallery. Chace had an interest in photography, and Tisch loved painting. They spent hours wandering through the exhibits, admiring the artwork and discussing their interpretations.
"This one is my favorite," Tisch said, pointing to a vibrant painting of a sunset.
"It's beautiful," Chace agreed. "Just like you."
Tisch blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her. She was falling for Chace more and more each day.
One night, Tisch invited Chace over for dinner. She cooked his favorite meal, and they ate by candlelight. After dinner, they sat on the couch, sipping wine and talking. Tisch told Chace about her childhood, her dreams of owning a café, and her love for "Friends."
"Friends is one of the reasons I opened the café," she said. "I always wanted to create a place where people could gather, relax, and enjoy each other's company."
"You've done an amazing job," Chace said, taking her hand. "I love your café. It's cozy and welcoming, just like you."
They kissed, a slow and tender kiss that made Tisch's heart race. She felt safe and cherished in Chace's arms.
One night, Tisch came to Chace's place. Chace heard a knock and immediately opened the door, expecting Tisch on the other side. She might have had a few glasses of wine to gather the courage to confess that she felt the same way.
"I have something to tell you," she said, her voice slightly shaky.
Chace looked at her with concern. "What is it?"
She took a deep breath. "At first, it was too sudden for me. I tried to avoid my feelings because I didn't want to get hurt, especially with your dating history. But now, I know I was just being silly. I can't deny it anymore. I have feelings for you too, Chace."
Chace's face lit up with a mixture of relief and joy. "You have no idea how happy that makes me," he said, pulling her into a warm embrace.
They kissed, a deep and passionate kiss that expressed all the emotions they had been holding back. They ended up making out in his apartment, both of them finally acknowledging and embracing the feelings they had for each other.
The next few weeks were filled with more moments of closeness and connection. Chace would often bring dinner to the café, and they would eat together after closing. They tried new recipes, laughed over spilled ingredients, and enjoyed the simple pleasure of each other's company.
One weekend, they decided to take a day trip to the beach. They packed a picnic and spent the day lounging on the sand, swimming in the ocean, and building sandcastles. The sun set in a blaze of colors, and they sat together, watching the sky turn from orange to pink to deep purple.
"I've never been this happy," Tisch said, resting her head on Chace's shoulder.
"Me neither," Chace replied, kissing her gently.
As the days passed, they grew even closer. Chace loved surprising Tisch with little gifts and gestures of affection. He would leave notes for her to find, bring her favorite chocolate, and always make her feel special.
Every day, they found new ways to enjoy their time together. Whether it was exploring new places, trying new activities, or simply spending quiet evenings at home, they cherished every moment.
And through it all, Tisch knew she had found something truly special. Chace was more than just a friend or a boyfriend; he was her partner, her confidant, and the person who made her life brighter.
