He was simply too beautiful to be Japanese.
His features were too foreign, his aura was too alluring, his presence too enchanting, he invited attention by merely existing. He stood out in the best way humanly possible, by being far too beautiful.
His curly black hair bounced eagerly, tickling at his neck as he walked to the front of the room, garnering every ounce of attention the room had to offer, all eyes were on him from boys and girls alike.
His gaze fixed to the floor, avoiding the prying eyes that picked apart his appearance. Reo being one of them. He couldn't help it, indulging himself in the beauty before him. And like a moth to a flame, he was hooked.
Dressed in the classic black and white uniform that hugged his tall form perfectly, contrasting beautifully with his smooth brown complexion that emitted such a rich glow, that he looked as if he was glowing from within.
Complemented also by his choice of accessories. The layers of gold jewellery he adorned were authentic, Reo could tell by the way they glistened in the light. The necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, and even his nose stud, shone just as much as he did. Embellishing him in a way that made him look more like a Renaissance painting than a person. He looked like an angel, divine.
He towered over most of the men in the classroom, Reo and Nagi aside. The amethyst-eyed teen could sense the testosterone levels rising, as envy oozed from every pore of every other man that surrounded him. Nagi excluded, as jealousy was far too bothersome for him to partake in.
They felt threatened by him and they should be. He made them look subpar, unremarkable and dull in comparison to him. Especially with the way most of the girls stared at him, with hearty eyes and blushed cheeks. And for once Reo couldn't blame them.
His features were chiselled as if he had been hand-carved by the gods themselves. Paired with eyes that could only be described as molten gold, enhanced further by sharp eyeliner. On closer inspection, the purple-eyed boy also noticed a small beauty spot under his right eye, a minor detail that could be easily overlooked by the average person. Yet to Reo, it only seemed to add to his enticing beauty, a delicate touch, to a seemingly perfect person.
But the purple-haired boy wasn't oblivious to the fact that he was uncomfortable. Even the most perfect people have their flaws, and for Akira, it seemed to be his pathological shyness.
As he fiddled with the rings on his fingers, eyes still glued to the ground, face painted in clear discomfort at all the attention he was receiving. He was like a pearl, a priceless gem that wished for nothing more than to hide away within his protective shell, far from the rest of the world. He was rare, like Nagi. A treasure like no other, a one in a million that Reo couldn't help but want all to himself.
