I am still in shock after the big news I've gotten from my parents. We're now eating dinner like nothing had happened and there is this obvious awkward silence. So awkward.
'Wow Mr Kim, you have a nice house. I love the water fountain outside in the garden. I think it brings more colour to the house.' Mrs Lee said to my father. 'Thank you, I'm sure you have a wonderful house too, we can't wait for you guys to invite us one day!' My mum chirped in and thanked the family. How fun can this get.
'Jennie do you have an apartment of your own?' Mrs Lee asks me. 'Yes I do, I actually moved in today.' I said proudly but I felt a small grin on the right side of the table, my future husband. 'Oh that's good, I guess you're getting used to it then, Taeyong has his own apartment too, don't you dear.' Her annoying son nodded in return.
'So Jennie, what do you work as?' Mrs Lee asks. What a great question! There was another awkward silence before finally my dad broke it. 'Actually Jennie doesn't have a job right now but she's looking for one.' My dad saved me.
But in the corner of my eye I saw that man Taeyong smirk with a small laugh. 'What's funny huh? What do you work as? A taxi driver?' I finally snapped at him. I'm sick of him always having the need to judge me. 'No I'm actually a CEO that runs the Lee Entertainment' He shot back. 'Let me guess, your daddy gave you that job, and if it wasn't for him, you would be in my position!' I smirked.

"That's enough Kim Jennie!' My dad screamed but he seemed more glad that the Lee parents weren't too upset about our argument.
