"Allison, may I have a word with you?" My calculus teacher says as the rest of the class gets up to leave.
Ashton glances as me, packing his things extra slow.
I walk up to the Mrs. Johnson's desk to hear what she has to say...this time.
"I've noticed you've been having quite some trouble with the chapter we're currently on. Are you doing alright?" She takes her glasses off and places them on the desk in front of her.
"Um, yea I'm doing alright. As you know, math isn't exactly my strongest subject."
"I suggest you get a tutor or maybe watch videos online, maybe do something to help you understand better. Calculus can actually be quite fun if you understand it."
"I don't think I'd ever find it fun, but thanks. I'll try and do things to help me out with the subject."
"Great, it was nice talking with you."
"You too." I walk back to my desk and grab my backpack, hurrying out of the classroom as I notice Ashton following me to my locker.
"Hey, I heard what our calculus teacher told you and I was wondering if maybe I could help? Math is kinda my strongest subject, so it's easy for me." he offers.
"Thanks, but I don't need a tutor." I mumble.
"You don't have to think of me as a tutor, just think of me as a friend helping out." he smiles.
"I don't know...I literally met you like a week ago. What if you're some kind of murderer in disguise or something that moved here because he left some evidence behind."
He chuckles, "You've got quite an imagination."
"So, I've been told."
"Please? just let me help you out."
"...Okay, fine. I need your number though." I hand him my phone which he takes, putting his number in and texting himself.
"Here you go," he hands me my phone back, "should I come over after school?"
"Sure, but Harry drove me to school, so you'd have to follow his car or something when he drops me home." I explain.
"Okay, that's not a problem."
"How do you already know what were learning?"
"I already took all this stuff in Australia, we're a little bit ahead over there."
"Oh okay, well see you at lunch." I smile as I head to my next class.

"Come on Ally, I have a party to go to." Harry rushes me.
"You have a party to go to every weekend Harry, I think I know the drill. And by the way, Ashton's gonna be following your car to my house because he's going to help me out with some of my calculus."
"Calculus? Is that a code word for sex? You two met a week ago, slow down."
"I know! Shut up, I don't even wanna get with him."
"That's what you say now." Harry lifts one eyebrow.
"Like I can even date anyone, you always butt in and act like you're part of the relationship."
"No I don't. I'm just being protective because I love you and if anything were to happen to you, I would blame myself."
"Okay daddy." I roll my eyes.
"Oh so I'm your daddy now?" he smirks.
"What? No! Ew Harry, you're gross."
"Mhmmm. Well, we're at your house so get outta my car. And remember, don't do anything stupid. You barely know Ashton, what if he ends up being a rapist or something."
"I won't, I'll let you know if he turns out to be a serial killer."
"You'll be dead by then." Harry sticks out his tongue as I close his car door and wave him a goodbye.
I unlock the door to my house, (no, I do not live in an apartment, I live in an actual house.), with Ashton following behind.
"Hey." he greets.
"Hey." I get the door to open.
"Wow, this is a nice place. Are your parents home?" Ashton looks around, looking at the pictures of me and my friends hanging on my walls.
"Actually, I live alone."
"Really? Are you even 18 yet? because you sure don't look it." he shifts his attention to me.
"No I'm not, I'm currently under my parent's contract or whatever, but when I turn 18 it'll be all mine. I still pay and everything though."
"Oh, that's cool. Do you like living by yourself? No roommate or whatever?"
"Yea I guess, I want Katelyn to move in with me but her parents won't let her." I sigh.
"Then why doesn't Harry move in with you? Rather than the apartment he lives in alone."
"No thanks, I do not want Harry butting into everything I do." I chuckle.
"Ah, I see. So he's basically like the older brother you never had?"
"Yea, you could say that. But how do you know I don't have an older brother?" I raise one eyebrow.
"I-I..um.. I figured you didn't, I don't know." he stutters.
"I'm joking, calm down. Come on, let's go to my room. My bed is literally the only reason I bother to do my homework." I laugh.
"Sure thing."
We head to my room and once again, Ashton looks around.
"I actually love your room. I didn't think you were the kind of girl into bands and stuff." he glances at me.
"Never judge a book by it's cover." I state the over-used saying..or quote..whatever.
I take my calculus books out of my bag. Four years of high school and I'm still bad at math, what is this??
"Luke..." I hear Ashton mumble.
My head shoots up, "How do you know Luke?"
"Um...uhhh...believe it or not, I met him like 2 days ago and I guess you could call us friends now." he says while looking at a photo booth strip of me and Luke, oh how I miss that kid...

What do you think happened with her and Luke? hmm.. I think Ashton ruined them (hint hint) lol :P
