They returned to the hotel.

No one talked to each other.

Shubman was kind of flaring from inside. He did try to give the other chocolate to cheer him up but Ishan was just not interested in getting cheered up by Shubham himself.

Shubman just did his regular evening routine and went to sleep without anymore words.

Next day~

It was almost about time for Ishan to wake up.

Slowly opening his eyes, Ishan didn't catch the familiar tall figure. He frowned and slowly got up.

He looked around him and at the washroom too.

Shubman was nowhere to be found. This concerned Ishan and he immediately checked his phone to see the time.

"Did he again turn off my alarm???" he said in a panic.

"No...then..." Ishan looked up from his phone.

Shubman had left early, a bit too early maybe. His kit was also missing. Ishan frowned at such a gesture.

"Urgh... whatever...he's already confusing enough." Ishan muttered and got off the bed to continue with his morning routine.

.....
.....

Ishan POV:

I reached the ground with Siraj bhaiya as Shubman had left me early.

'What a meanieeee!!'  I pouted in anger.

I was just about to wear my gloves when I heard a high pitched loud voice. It started me very badly and my helmet almost fell off my grip.

I turned around and saw Shubman yelling out as he batted. For a moment, I completely paused and just looked at him, who aggressively batted and everyone who was bowling against him was concerned, more like confused.

Mayank was bowling against him. He was also very confused and tensed to say anything against Gill. The more he bowled, the aggresive Shubman's batting and nature became.

"What...is he....doing...?" I muttered and continued to wear my gloves.

I looked around and saw Hardik bhaiya standing a bit far away, trying to practice his bowling skills.

"Bhaiya?" I said as I walked towards him.

"Hey! Come here! Go and bat, I need to practice more." he said.

"Yes but.... What is Shubman doing...? I mean he left me early..." I said and again looked at Shubman who was aggressively speaking and batting.

Hardik bhaiya sighed deeply.

"Hmmm, trust me Ishan, it's just a small part of Shubman's aggressive side. We have seen worse!" he shrugged.

I frowned at that statement.

'Much worse? How worse can he get?'  I thought, scrunching my nose up.

I gave them a quick glance as Mayank again bowled.

"WITH MORE FORCE! NOT LIKE A CHILD!!" I was startled by the sudden high pitched loud voice.

I could see how much pressure Mayank was under. I could see the trace of sweat constantly dripping down by his temples as he kept staring at Shubman who was yelling at him.

"Hmmm, that's our typical Shubman, he doesn't leave any chance to train them, I mean, 'us'...." Hardik bhaiya said, gaining my attention.

I frowned but nonetheless went to bat as Hardik bhaiya started to bowl.
