Backstory: Xian Yu was born on the date of 6 April 2006 in the United States, his mother and father migrated in the states in hopes of giving their children a good head start in life.

Fast forward to when Xian Yu becomes 20, he got news from his tiny apartment that his father died on the day where the criminal drug business leader named Jack Henderson is caught.

It is said, his father was shot to the heart by one of Mr.Henderson's henchmen.

In the court, Jack Henderson was let free due to his connections with the politicians, police and other minor things.

Xian Yu was furious along with his family members when they heard about this, but they were dismissed by the people in the court as they had already given their final verdict to this case.

The court also then gave Xian Yu and his family some settlement money to keep them quiet and to not speak about this case again.

The family, when hearing this, were mad but reluctantly agreed in fear of being hunted down by the criminal.

As they left the court one by one with tears and a sorrowful look to their faces, Xian Yu stopped in his tracks in the court room as he saw the man's face who is known as the criminal overlord in the drug dealing business, Jack Henderson.

As Xian Yu looks at the man with disdain.

Jack felt someone was looking at him and looks around and finds Xian Yu looking at him with a scrunch face.

He gives Xian Yu a sorry look as he and his bodyguards leave the court room.

As Jack left the court room, Xian Yu caught a glimpse that Jack has tattoos ranging from his face to his arms when passing by him.

Xian Yu felt a sense of coldness when the man and his bodyguards passed by him, it is as if they had an ominous aura to them.

Xian Yu then shook his head and left the court to find his family outside of the building waiting for him with his elder brother going to him to ask if he was ok...

(Now for Xian Yu's narration of his story if he were to be picked as a character in a game)

"My father... he was the detective for the New York Police Department... he was a great man to the people around him especially to his own family.

Oh... how I miss that old man a lot after his... upcoming.
But as he always says.

"Always tend to the future not the past".

That line has always stuck with me, heh, from my teen years.. and I am forever grateful that he said that to me.

Remembering that quote from him makes it as if he's still here with me... guiding me through life and as for me though..

I'm currently working as a hotel clerk for a well-known resort here in Kolenhai Island.

The resort and island is quite big from what I've seen on the videos and pictures I was given before being hired here.

My job here is simple, that is  to help people with what I can service them with, but the only downside is that I'll be working on the VIP floor which is where all the very important people go to rest.

I felt pressure being stationed there, but the pay was good and hopefully I won't mess things up there.

Working at the resort has its ups and downs, but it's tolerable... the only thing that I don't like about the place is that the floor I'm stationed at is full of famous and dangerous people who go here to relax and "to take some steam off".

I hope... that the man I would not like to meet wouldn't have any business to be here, he gives me the creeps for some reason even though he gave me that sorry look from that day.

But so far he's not here or maybe he's just not in my sights yet... I've heard from my colleagues that a man with tattoos from his face to his arm is staying here at the resort for a couple of weeks or so...

I just hope it's not him and hopefully I will not run to him anytime soon.

... As for my mother and other siblings, mama went back to Taiwan to live her final days there and to remember the places where she met my father, her husband.

She was depressed for about three years when father died, but one day she said, something in her sparks life or some sort that made her want to return to her husband's homeland.

She's for now the happiest I've seen in my life from the photos that's been sent to me weekly by my siblings, guess there's a voice in her head that told her to find peace.

As for my siblings, Yin my oldest brother the oldest of me and my other siblings went to Korea to live with his girlfriend after a year of father's passing.

As for the other two of my siblings, I got told by my brother.
They went back with our mother as one of them was not old enough to be on their own yet and the other one went back to Taiwan just to visit some of his old friends and to take care of mother and sister.

I hope they're fine and doing good... anyways getting back to the topic, working in this hotel really makes me feel quite rusty in knowing how to draw because of how busy this hotel has gotten lately from the moment that singer or rapper? Came here...

I suspect and think it's because of our beaches being the most clean ones in this country and because this place is a perfect place to perform a concert.

Silence for a moment

... before my father's death and before I even got this job, he gifted me the family heirloom knife.

It was very beautiful with its handles having jade flower patterns embedded in it. He said this knife will bring me luck in situations that I feel are at loss for me, Heh, I hope he's right about that because my back is feeling quite painful from running around this hotel..."
