It was biology and the teacher had been five minutes late. so you know what that means. the class was a mess. paper planes landing on peoples tables and heads, the boys making a ruckus. Yeji was busy working on her essay as she felt a paper ball hit her head. She pushed the paper of her table, tsking softly she continued to work. She saw few shoes stand in front of her table as she looked up. oh look, spawn the devil and her minions. perfect.
"what do you want haeun?" yeji raised an eyebrow. She rolled her eyes. "i wanted to see what your working on thats all" she sighed. "i know your here for something and i don't want to deal with this shit now. tell me what you want or leave" she snaps, glaring up at them. Her minions stepped forward to argue but her friend held her back.
"what think your some saint yeji? your just a pathetic little weakling. I came you to ask if you finished my history project thats due next monday" she leaned closer to yeji. "now i'm not done yet. i need to finish mine too." yeji responded rolling her eyes. haeun's eyes flashed with anger as she raised her hand to slap yeji, yeji put her head down, waiting for the slap but it never came.
She slowly opened her eyes and saw jungwon, her class president holding haeun's hand. "What are you doing?" he asked, looking coldly down at haeun. She stuttered "n-nothing... just friendly talking. right yeji?" she looked at me with her fake smile and i nodded. "i saw what happened.... do this to her or anyone else i'm reporting to Mrs.Yang. you hear me? now scarm"
Jungwon snapped, glaring at the girls as they stumbled their way back to their seats as yeji looked at her saviour. "uh thank you jungwon" she muttered, diverting her gaze but he only patted her head. "tell me if they bother you again alright?" yeji finally looked up and her breath left her lungs, he was bent over her desk, his hand over her head, there faces close but not to close, the classic dimple smile adoring his cat like features. "see you later yeji" he nodded at her and turned around, walking back to his seat and minded his own business.
Yeji's hear was beating out of her chest while her cheeks turned a light shade of pink as she smiled to herself, continuing to finish her school notes. jungwon turned back to look at her one last time, a huge grin on his face as he knew he made the girl's heart flutter.
