In the realm of Khianne, humans coexisted peacefully with those of Magic and Sorcery of all kinds. These species included Wyverns, Witches, Wizards, and Warlocks. Each marked with a special kind of symbol or object, making them easily identifiable.
One day, the humans defied their friends and neighbors. The humans began to kill, torture, and enslave the weaker of the Magics. They made names for these Magics to belittle and shame them for their differences; monsters, Outcasts, monstrosities, and more.
Eventually, the stronger of the Magics retaliated, and began killing humans who had Magics as slaves. Thousands of both guilty and innocent perished, but eventually the battles ceased, and the Magics went into hiding. From then on, all forms of magic were banned throughout Khianne, and any who showed signs of it would be executed immediately.
But what humans didn't know is that the East side of Khianne contained land hidden by the dense forests, and coated in protective spells, containing a safe haven for the young Magics that remained. And this land will be hidden for many years to come.
