Anastasia sat on Carlisle's lap in his office, a place that had become her favorite spot. The room was still, with only the hum of the outside world faintly drifting in through the window. Carlisle was absorbed in his work, Anastasia read the romantic novel for a while and watched him with a mixture of curiosity and something deeper.

As she sat there, Carlisle noticed the unusual rhythm of her heartbeat and the pace of her breathing. He turned to her, concern etched on his face.

"Anna, are you okay?" he asked softly.

She hesitated for a moment, gathering her courage. "Actually," she said, her voice trembling slightly, "I've been feeling something... different."

Before Carlisle could respond, Anastasia leaned in and pressed her lips to his in a sudden, unexpected kiss. Carlisle's eyes widened in surprise. His cold lips met hers, and for a moment, everything was still.

When he realized what was happening, he gently returned the kiss, his touch tender and careful. The contrast of their cold skin and her warm, fluttering heartbeat created a mix of sensations that left Anastasia breathless.

As they pulled apart, Carlisle's eyes were filled with a mixture of surprise and affection. He brushed a stray lock of hair from her face and asked gently, "Anna, what's going on with you?"

Anastasia, still caught in the rush of emotions, offered a shy, yet hopeful smile. "I just needed to show you how I feel," she admitted softly.

Carlisle's expression softened further, a mixture of understanding and tenderness. "I'm glad you did," he said, his voice warm despite the coolness of his lips.

That one kiss changed everything within her. She kept on reading romantic novels.
In the midst of her musings, she found herself daydreaming about seducing Carlisle, her mind racing with scenarios and fantasies. She pictured herself close to him, imagining the tender moments they might share.

However, her thoughts were not as private as she believed. Edward, who had been passing by her room, caught snippets of her vivid imagination. He stopped in his tracks, his expression a mix of surprise and mild amusement.

"Anna," he called out from the doorway, his voice cutting through her daydreams. "You might want to control your thoughts a bit. They're getting a bit loud."

Anastasia's face flushed crimson as she realized Edward had overheard her private thoughts. Embarrassment washed over her, and she quickly closed the book, unable to meet his gaze.

"I'm so sorry, Edward," she stammered, her cheeks still burning. "I didn't realize I was... broadcasting."

Edward's lips twitched into a small, understanding smile. "It's okay, Anna. Just keep it a bit quieter, alright? It's a bit much to handle."

She nodded, still feeling the sting of embarrassment. Edward's playful tone did little to ease her self-consciousness. As he walked away, she buried her face in her hands, trying to forget the whole embarrassing incident and focus on her emotions for the day ahead.

After Edward's comment, Anastasia found herself unable to face him. She avoided his gaze and quickly retreated to her room, the flush of embarrassment still coloring her cheeks. She couldn't believe her private thoughts had been so easily overheard.

Jasper noticed her unusual behavior from a distance. His perceptive nature allowed him to sense her heightened emotional state. He watched as she hurried away, confusion and embarrassment radiating from her.

Concerned, Jasper approached Edward, who had a bemused expression on his face. "What happened with Anna?" Jasper asked, sensing the emotional turmoil.

Edward sighed, a hint of amusement still lingering in his tone. "She was lost in thought about Carlisle, and I overheard her fantasies. I had to tell her to tone it down; her thoughts were quite loud."

Jasper frowned, his gaze shifting towards where Anastasia had disappeared. "I see. I'll talk to her. It seems like she's having a rough time dealing with her emotions."

Jasper followed the emotional trail left by Anastasia, finding her in her room, sitting on the edge of her bed, her face buried in her hands. He knocked gently before entering.

"Anna, can I come in?" he asked softly.

Startled, she looked up, her eyes red and puffy. "Jasper, I didn't mean to..."

Jasper sat beside her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's alright. I just wanted to check on you. I can feel how upset you are."

She took a shaky breath. "I just didn't realize my thoughts could be so... obvious. I'm so embarrassed."

Jasper gave her a reassuring smile. "It happens. We all have moments where our emotions get the better of us. Just remember, it's okay to have feelings and to be open about them."

She nodded, feeling a bit reassured by Jasper's understanding. "Thanks, Jasper. I'll try to be more aware of my thoughts."

Jasper patted her shoulder gently. "No problem. And don't worry too much about it. Edward and I have seen a lot, and we understand."
