~lucys perspective~
It's been 2 days since we told Tamara that I'm pregnant,we ended up telling everybody that I'm pregnant yesterday,there were so many happy tears. me and Tim have been talking abt moving into his house,but we're Stimmung trying to figure out things. we haven't said a word to Tamara yet since we r still talking/thinking abt it. Roll call has just ended,I'm riding with Aaron once again but I enjoy riding with him.
We were walking to are shop out the front of the station when I got an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach.
Lucy holds her stomach and makes a face
A-"You alright"
L-"Yh i-i think so,I just got uncomfortable all of a sudden"
A-"It's the baby??"
L-"I don't know um,maybe we should stop by my OB's office at the hospital just to make sure"
A-"Okay"
Aaron and Lucy get in the shop
L-"alright"
~over the radio~
Aa-"hey Sarg,Move to channel 3"
Sgt grey-"copy"
Sgt grey-"what's up??"
Aa-"me and Lucy r gonna nip to the hospital,she got and uncomfortable feeling in her stomach,we just want to make sure everything's okay"
Sgt grey-"copy that,keep me updated"
Aa-"will do"
Aaron puts the radio back down
Lucy exhales deeply
A-"hey,I'm sure it's nothing"
Lucy nods
~Aaron's perspective~
I'm very close to Lucy,I know she's worrying a-lot right now. Lucy's an overthinker,Lucy overthinks pretty much anything and everything,I'm sure the baby's fine as he/she's just wriggling abt inside.
They arrive at the hospital and Lucy goes and gets an ultrasound done while Aaron's waits in the waiting room for Lucy.
Stg grey calls Aaron
Aaron pulls his phone from his back pocket and picks up
Aa-"hello"
Sgt grey-"hey,how's Lucy doing??"
Aa-"uh,still waiting to hear but the doctor didn't seem worried"
Sgt grey-"good,keep me updated"
Aa-"will do"
Aaron hangs up
~20 minutes later~
Lucy walks out into the waiting room
A-"hey"
Aaron says getting up
L-"hey"
Aa-"Is everything okay"
L-"uh yh,ultrasound came back clear,doctor thinks that it was just some aggressive heartburn,but they're gonna run some blood tests just to be safe"
Aa-"okay,good"
Lucy smiles as she signs some paper work
They hang about to kill some time while waiting on Lucy's blood work to come back.
(I know blood work usually takes up for a few days/weeks to come back,but I'm just gonna do it so she finds out in this chapter)
After a long time of waiting Lucy gets called back in,5-10 minute's later Lucy walks around the corner.
She looks up
L-"what are u doing here"
T-"um,why didn't you tell me you were seeing your OB??"
L-"i-i didn't want to worry you if it was nothing and-and it was,it was just a little aggressive heartburn"
T-"I don't care"
L-"Aaron called you here didn't he"
T-"yes"
Lucy sighs
T-"he did the right thing"
L-"mmm"
L-"just gotta sign some more paper work,then I'm free to go"
T-"okay well,while u do that im gonna nip to the bathroom"
Aaron and Angela are outside the front of the hospital to get some fresh air.
A-"hey,you did the right thing,calling tim. I would of done the same thing"
Aa-"yeah"
Aa-"where did tim go"
A-"he went to make sure everything's okay,then wait on Lucy"
They both laugh
Angela and Aaron walk back in to make sure everything okay.
Aa-"hey,free to go when you're ready"
L-"I am,lab blood work came back clear"
Lucy says finishing signing the paper work
Aa-"That's great news"
L-"yup"
Lucy says as she hands over the paper work
T-"hey"
Tim says walking around the corner,coming back from the bathroom
Aa-"I'll go pull the shop round"
L-"okay"
L-"So everything is fine best blood work she's ever seen"
T-"I knew it would be"
L-"listen i-i am sorry,I should've called you but to tell you the truth,I was terrified and I needed to Pretend that it was nothing and if I called you I would have to-to admit that it could be something..."
T-"and i get that,but you shouldn't deal with theses things alone,look trust me,fear is the worst thing to have to go through by yourself"
L-"I'm just terrified somethings going to happen"
T-"maybe we can take this,one day at a time,whatever,we'll deal with it together"
L-"i'm good with that"
They get back to the station and get changed into there normal clothes. Lucy and Aaron were at the hospital for most of the day so Sgt grey sent them home both early as well as tim. Lucy and Tim were walking towards the front door of the station.
Sgt grey-"hey lucy did everything go okay"
L-"uh yh,ran blood test came back fine it-it was just severe heartburn"
Sgt grey-"glad to hear"
Sgt grey says smiling
Lucy smiles
Sgt grey walks off into his office
Tim and Lucy arrive back home,Lucy was washing some strawberries. Tamara walks out her bedroom.
Tam-"hey,how was work??"
Tamara says sitting at the kitchen counter
L-"we'll,I was stuck at the hospital all day"
Tam-"what,what happened,is it the baby"
L-"everything's fine,I just got uncomfortable but it was just aggressive heartburn"
Tam-"are you sure"
L-"I'm positive"
Tam-"mm okay"
Lucy giggles
L-"um,me and Tim were thinking about how things are going to work when we have the baby,how the living situation going to work,ect"
Tim Walks out the bedroom
T-"you're telling her now??"
Lucy nods
Tam-"telling me what"
L-"...we were thinking about moving to Tim's??
But since you're old enough to have you're own place,you could stay here?? Unless you wanna come with obviously"
Tam-"um,can I think about it
L-"Of corse"
Tamara smiles as she gets up and goes back j to her bedroom.
