May 3, 2024 ~ New York University ~

"To the class of 2024, I would just like to congratulate you all on this grand accomplishment of completing all the necessary requirements of a bachelor's degree. Now will you all please stand and move your tassels to the left. By the Power vested in me by the U.S. Department of Education and New York University I confer you all degreed and official under graduates of New York University. Congratulations Class of 2024!"

The smile on my face was as big as a kid in the candy store. I couldn't be more proud of myself at accomplishing something as big as obtaining my bachelors degree. I've dreamt of this moment for so many years and now that it's here I couldn't be more happy than I am right now. Once the ending processional was done we were now able to leave and unite with our families. I stood by the entry way of the auditorium looking for my family.

"CARRINGTON!!!" I heard the voice of my best friend Briana.

She and I had been friends since diapers. Now both adults at 22 years old figuring out our place in the world. Bri chose not go to college being she wanted to pursue a career in modeling. Please believe her parents supported her fully. Her mom and mine became best friends after meeting in medical school at John Hopkins. Briana came from money and there was no doubt about it. A dad who was a neurosurgeon and a mom who was a CRNA. She was always decked out in latest designer and drove a 2023 BMW X3 that was fully customized to her desire. She had the beauty to go along with it. She was stunning to say the least. She was brighter complected, nice slim figure; long beautiful hair that was curly, but currently straighten at the moment, and beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Bri was the epitome of beautiful, the modeling world would be privileged to have her.

"BRI!!!!" I called back as we ran to each other following it with an embrace

"BRI!!!!" I called back as we ran to each other following it with an embrace.

"Congratulations!!! I'm sooo proud of you girl!!" She exclaimed while rocking me in her arms. Bri was always the loudest cheerleader in my corner. I honestly couldn't ask for a better best friend.

"Thank you! That means too much to hear. Where's your parents I thought they sat with mine?" I asked as I smiled at her.

"Oh they're all coming, I just ran to you because I was so excited and wanted to be the first to congratulate you." She beamed causing me to pout admiringly at her.
