After a few days, and since Eden was homeschooled, Aaron brought her to the BAU Headquarters, and to Penelope. Eden was starting to learn english, and started speaking it more freely, without stuttering.
"Sir, I'm a little busy, with work, to look after a minor." Penelope stated, "Let alone one who's that cute! What's up with that?" "Garcia, this is my daughter, Eden." Aaron told the hacker in front of him, "She's gifted, she just doesn't know it yet." "Thanks for the compliment though," Eden mumbled from Aaron's side, "at least, I think it was a compliment." "Eden?" Penelope asked, "Why haven't we heard about her?"
"I've been living in South Korea... Icheon." Eden finally spoke up, no longer mumbling, "Away from here, and in a timezone where I was thirteen hours ahead of the timezone here, meaning I'm still on Korean time." She pauses, "which means it's 8:30 AM here, it's 9:30 PM in South Korea." "Hotch, your daughter is smart!" Penelope stated, "Honestly, it's surprising" "Only with timezone differences, honestly, math is not my strongest subject."
"I'll leave you two to it." "Bye Dad, stay safe, please." was Eden pleading or wanting Aaron to promise he'd be safe? "I will, E., I promise," Aaron told his daughter while ruffling her hair.
Eden wasn't a huge fan of physical affection, but from the right people, she was fine with it. She was twelve, almost thirteen, as it wasn't, yet, August. "So, Eden, tell me about yourself." Penelope said, "What do you like, what do you not like, what makes you, you?" "Well, I'm from Icheon, South Korea, I was an only child, and I like what many twelve-year-old girls like, boys, makeup, and music," Eden said, with a sigh, "I don't like too many questions at once." "E., I'm sorry, you are in a building with profilers, you will be asked many questions." "I know." Eden whined, a bit while laying her head on the desk, causing Penelope to giggle a bit.
After some thought, Penelope went to introduce Eden to the others. "C'mon Eden, you're gonna have to meet the others, sometime!" "But what if they don't like me?" "Don't be like that, they know your dad, they'll love you!" "But... Pen!-" Penelope grabbed Eden's hand and led the younger female to the bullpen. The bullpen was the busiest room in the entire building, Penelope and Eden weaved their way to the desks, starting with Derek Morgan.
"Whatever you have for us, Babygirl," Derek said, "it better be good" "It's not about the case" Penelope signaled for Eden to come over, as she spoke, "this is our boss's daughter, Eden, be nice, she arrived from South Korea, a few days ago." "Well, it's nice to meet you, Eden," Derek said, giving Eden a smile, Eden smiled shyly in return. "Next is Emily Prentiss" Penelope said, "Emily!" "Yes Garcia" Emily asked, "oh, who is this?" "Hotch's daughter, Eden." Penelope smiled, and Eden gave a shy wave. "I'm Emily Prentiss," Emily introduced, "if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to talk to one of us" Eden nodded. Next was Jennifer Jareau. "I'm Jennifer Jareau, Media Liaison," JJ said, "Feel free to call me JJ." Eden gave a timid nod. Next was Spencer Reid. "Eden, I hear you're originally from Icheon, what was it like there?" Spencer asked, "right, I'm Spencer." Eden nodded. "It was alright, small town, everyone knew everyone, my cousin Lee Minho (Lee Know) lived on the outskirts of Icheon, he was born and raised in Gimpo, South Korea." "Interesting." Spencer thought, out loud. Penelope grabbed Eden's hand and led her toward David Rossi's office.
"I don't think Rossi would like it if you just barged into his office when he's trying to work, Garcia." Derek said, "Besides, I think you should knock first, make sure he's actually in his office."
