Techno would slap the upturned smirk off Wilbur's face if he had the energy and close enough range to do so. Wilbur was also extremely— and frustratingly— lucky they were in a public space.

"He's cute," Wilbur grinned.

Techno clenched his teeth, placing a thumb to his temple and fingers to his forehead, "You have a girlfriend Wil,"

"Exactly, and I miss the pursuit of romance so I am living it through you."

"The Olympics is not the place for romance, especially not mine," Techno muttered in disbelief, his brother managed to come up with new surprises for him by the day, he just wished they were always good.

Wilbur danced around him as Techno got up to rid himself of what was left of his food, his appetite long gone. "We're in the city of love Techno, this is the perfect place for romance!" he exclaimed as Techno had to perform his own dance to avoid knocking into him every five seconds. He was embarrassingly loud for how close by people were and how echoey the cafeteria felt.

Techno rolled his eyes. "Yes, and your girlfriend is only staying twenty minutes away so why don't you go make out with her or something," Techno asked, or more so pleaded, shoving him with his hand. Wilbur stumbled slightly but was not deterred.

Wilbur stuck out his bottom lip, "it's okay Techno, I will find someone to thaw your icy heart." he patted Technos back heartily. Techno glared at the wall in disdain for the world he lived in. Wilbur chatted away to him as they made their way to the second floor and weaved through the halls to the dorms. How did Techno live with this man for seven years of his life? Unbelievable.

He cut Wilbur off by entering his room and shutting the door in his face, sighing in relief as his voice was muddled through the wood. He heard a giggle and turned in the direction of it. Right. His roommate. The blond was laughing, eyes scrunched up and hunched over his knees as his process of putting on his shoes was cut short by Technos anguishing, but apparently laughable, situation.

He grumbled and walked over to his nightstand. The blond smiled at his misery. "It's not that funny," Techno spoke monotonously as Dream giggled again.

"It most definitely is," he replied as he tied up the last bit of his laces, "good luck with all of that Mr. Marathon," he added before getting up and near shoving Technos shoulder with his own as he walked out, the soreness from that morning returning to him. What an asshole.

Technos phone buzzed in his pocket and he picked it up. "Big T!" his little brother enthused.

"What's up Toms?" he hummed as he grabbed his book off the stand and sat onto his bed, in which he had over estimated its height and found himself in a moment of free fall.

He could feel Tommy's bouncing energy through the phone. "Well big man, I am now at the Olympics with mother and father and I will be seeing you tomorrow," Tommy informed in a mock business voice.

"That's nice," Techno droned, yawning for effect.

Tommy sputtered on the other end, "Do not yawn! This is thrilling, jaw dropping, newsworthy information!"

"Mhm," Techno smiled, only adding to the fire as he opened his book.

"Fuck you, I'm gonna- I'm gonna go watch running instead!" his younger brother threatened.
