Ok... so I decided to continue this story after all... it will be different and remember everything is fiction. Thank you for reading. Love reading your comments. 🥰

Another year passed and once again it was Christmas. This year, the Christmas will be a little different though... The kids were growing all so much. None of them could believe it! Even little Synni and Signe were already 1 year old! As the year before, the Christmas will be family only... and even after a whole year Synni and Signe are still as inseparable as ever. They simply can't stand being apart... neither can their parents though...

"What are you thinking?" asked Frida. She could see that Agnetha was deep in thought. "Nothing..." her friend answered distracted. "You sure? Are you ok, lilla syster?" Frida asked her. Agnetha just nodded. She was fine... it was just so hard. Frida signed. It was hard for her too. Everything changed so quickly and there was nothing they could do. None of them could have predicted it... just a year ago it seemed unimaginable. Just as they thought they got their lives under control this happened... Couldn't they just have a peaceful year? Was that too much to ask for?

"Mama?" asked a 13-year-old Lotta. She could see her mama was sad and so could everyone else. This year was really hard on them all. Well, the last couple months were. After their return from Japan everything happened so quickly, and they couldn't do anything. "Hans... I don't think mama's good..." Lotta called her older brother. Hans came into the room, quickly followed by Peter and Helene. They were all worried for their mama. Without their papa there, they needed to step up...

"Mama?" Hans asked. Frida was just staring at nothing not responding to her children's calls. "Mama," Lene called. She walked in front of Frida and held her hands. Frida finally came back to reality. "How long have you been calling me?" she asked the kids. "Almost 15 minutes mama," said Peter. Frida was his mama too and he loved her very much. He knew she was suffering, but he didn't know what to do. He knew she needed his papa here... but what could he do? That was impossible.

"Hej min lilla stjärna, did you sleep well?" Agnetha asked her eldest daughter. "Yes, mama..." the little girl said, a sad look on her face. She missed her papa so much. He's been gone for 9 months now... and she missed him every day... she knew she needed to be good for mama though... this was the last thing her papa said when she last saw him and she took it as the most important order. She made sure Christian and Signe were good too. Their mama didn't need more trouble. It was hard enough raising three kids on your own...

"Come on let's have breakfast," said Agnetha, taking her youngest daughter and niece into her arms. She smiled... at least this stayed the same. The two little girls were still just as inseparable. They ate breakfast and the kids opened their gifts. It wasn't much... times were hard and it was all they could manage. The kids were happy for the gifts, but they were sad their mamas didn't get any. Right in that moment the doorbell rang, and Frida went to answer. It was the postman... if you could call him that... times were hard and everything was messed up... Frida entered the room, bringing in 4 important letters.

Agnetha went pale. She didn't want to open them. What if something happened? She couldn't face it! She couldn't face losing her Björn... Frida wasn't doing much better either... what was in those letters could have very big impact on all of their lives...

The doorbell rang again, and Frida once again went to answer the door. "We're here to take Hans Ragnar Fredriksson and Hans Peter Gösta Grönvall," the soldier reported. "NO! They're too young!" screamed Frida falling to the floor. They were here to take her babies away! "They're old enough," another soldier said in a very negative tone, making Frida cry even harder. "I'm sorry ma'am, commander's orders..." said the first soldier as he and 3 other soldiers dragged Hans and Peter with them. Agnetha quickly went to hug her sister. She couldn't imagine her kids having to go... they weren't even adults yet!
