"..um.. hi."

I awkwardly felt myself utter, walking toward a somewhat tall girl who was standing in the corner. In fact, it was the girl with light purple (almost white) hair I had seen earlier. Her hair appeared straight, cascading down in her back in beautiful strands. Her eyes were a deep purple, and half-lidded as she stared off calmly, but appeared to slightly raise while her gaze shifted in my direction. There was even a small braid on the side of her hair.

Her skin practically shone—being unordinarily pale. She wore dark purple combat boots over her feet. A white button-up was what she wore, with an even darker purple overcoat over it, and an orange tie worn around her neck. And the purple skirt she wore swayed as she barely moved. When I glanced at her hands though, I noticed she appeared to be wearing gloves.

She still didnt talk. Just.. staring, and shifting her hand a little more as if uncomfortable with me looking at it. She smelt faintly of lavender, and my eyes drifted away from her. She seemed a bit.. intimidating almost. Just standing there in sheer silence. Not even uttering a word as she had her arms crossed.

Quiet spread between us. And I cleared my throat.

"What's—what's your name?"

"..Kyoko Kirigiri."

"Eh?"

"Thats my name."

"..oh."

Kyoko Kirigiri, huh? I thought I might have heard that name somewhere before. Strangely though, it was like something in a dream. Faintly—it remained in the back of my mind. But no matter how much I fried to wrap my head around the name, I just couldn't seem to find the memory of where I heard of her.

I let out a sigh. "Well, I'm.. Y/N. Y/N L/N." I tried to hold out my hand, lifting it barely. In response though, she took a step back and just stared at me. Certainly wasn't much of a talker, was she?

I lowered my hand—and gave a bow. "It's.. nice to meet you, Ms—well.. Kyoko. I look foward to working with you."

She didn't respond. She was still just.. quiet.

"..err.. by chance, what Ultimate are you?" I found myself asking, tilting my head to the side.

"Why do you want to know?"

"Well—I just.. wanna know. You were invited here, right? You've certainly got to be more interesting than me." I awkwardly chuckled, trying to joke. Yet no matter what light direction I tried to lead the conversation in, her expression was the same cold frown.

"..sorry. I don't think I wanna tell you."

"Don't wanna tell me..? Why not?"

"Do I have to?"

"Uh.. no. I guess not."

"Then I'm not going to."

"..mm." I grumbled. A spike of irritation and confusion began to appear in my mind, but it was quick replaced by the endless possibilities of why she didn't wanna tell me. And I immediately began to feel all that irritation directed toward myself rather than her.

"Well.. sorry for asking then. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." Said I.

In return, she only blankly said, "It's fine."

She.. seemed odd just from within the few seconds I had met her. But not really mean. Just somewhat reclusive. Maybe I could spend some time with her later on.
