AN: It only took 5 chapters to set this all up. You can thank my ADHD meds for the solid schedule of these chapters. Thank you for reading and feel free to share this wherever you like. I'm also taking liberties with the setting of some past moments mentioned since they weren't specified in the book.

Win woke up in stages, tranquil within the warm cocoon of his bed and the almost frigid breeze of the air con creeping in around the edges of the blanket. As he recognised the weight of Team's arm across his chest, his face buried into the soft fluffy fringe of hair sticking out of the cat-eared hoodie, the soft puffs of Team's breath across his exposed neck, and their legs tangled together had him floating on a cloud of contentment. He pulled Team closer, knowing his grumpy kitten would wake up soon since he forgot to close the curtains.
He tried to force himself to sleep more, not wanting to unwrap himself from Team. Being Team's pillow was near the top of his favourite things to do with Team. He let out a silent sigh and gently began to extricate himself from the limbs holding onto him. A quick trip to the bathroom and he was cleaning up their mess from the night before, not having wanted to waste the joy that was a full, mostly content, and warm Team.
He heard the telltale signs of Team waking up just as he was removing the jok from the fridge. The little grumbles that came from the cat-shaped, human-sized lump in his bed had a smile spreading across his face. The stretching of arms and petulant little kicks had Win clambering onto his bed to nuzzle and kiss Team into full consciousness. "Ugh, Hia! Stop!"
Win obediently moved back a short distance and smiled wider as he took in the mussed hair and sheet lines pressed into Team's face. "Morning, baby." The side eye Team sent his way had him chuckling. "Go freshen up and I'll get breakfast ready." He outright laughed at the rude gesture Team gave him and rolled around the bed laughing while Team reluctantly got out of the bed.

They enjoyed their simple breakfast of jok with the added side of Paa Tong Koo courtesy of Pharm and then settled in for a long cuddle, Win reading a book and Team playing a game with Hia Waan on his phone. A ping from his phone had Win back in the present; A text from Hia Waan telling him to stop doing whatever he was doing and fix his gaming partner.
Win set his book aside and gently pulled Team's phone from his unmoving fingers. "Team, I want to tell you something." He gently squeezed Team to his chest, slightly rocking them side to side, "And no, it doesn't have anything to do with you. It's something that I want to tell you because you're it for me Team."
Team turned around in Win's arms, the blush creeping across his cheeks had Win wanting to coo at him and pinch his cheeks, he settled for caressing the soft pink cheeks. "I mean it, Team. When I make plans with other people, you're the first person I think about; can I bring you with me, would you want to come with me, do you have special practice or a paper due..."
"Hia! I get it." Team clasped Win's face firmly in his hands. "You're it for me too Hia." Team laid his head onto Wins' shoulder and gave him a quick squeeze before sitting up to scrutinize the blonde.
Win couldn't stop the smile that spread across his face and placed a kiss on each of Team's cheeks. "You ready?" He looked straight into Team's curious gaze, "You know what a siren is, right?" Team's eyes opened in surprise and he nodded his head slightly. "My family are sirens. My dad and mom are both part siren, Waan has a little more than they do and Wiew and I have the most."
"That makes so much sense. You're charming, people tend to gravitate towards you, you're gorgeous!" Team shook Wins' shoulders softly, his expression fell into the serious little pout that drove Win crazy, "Hia, you might think it's not obvious, but everything about you screams I'm a Siren." Win wanted to feel offended but the serious look on Team's face had him melting. "It also explains why you love riding your bike and the water. Oh! And why you smell like warm earth, wood, and seawater."
