Do Yeon escorted his sister down the market place. He had considered her offer to stay at the Jang household and chose to put it on hold but not dismissing it either . His mother didn't seem fond of Jang Uk and after how Cho Yeon's engagement fell through with him , Do Yeon knew that reason was enough for his mother to hate him .
The son of the Jin family noticed the small blue stone on Bu Yeon's hangbok , "Where did you get that bird egg?" He could read it's energy and it wasn't trivial at all.
Bu Yeon looked at the small blue stone taking it in her hand , "I found it."
"Where ?"
"At one of the graves of a soul shifter."
Do Yeon had so many questions but chose to reframe from asking what she was even doing at the graves in the first place.
She looked at him expectantly , "do you have any idea where it could have come from?"
"No." He took it in his hands to read it's energy. He wasn't familiar with it at all.
"If it came from Jinyowon. Should I ask Cho Yeon?" Bu Yeon inquired.
Suddenly , someone knocked him down stealing the blue stone from him.
"That punk!" He quickly stood up and ran after the thief through the market place.
"Yah!" Do Yeon was about to hit the thief with the Tansu spell but there were too many people in his way he couldn't risk hurting them. He decided to run after the thief .
"Wait!" Bu Yeon grabbed his arm catching up .
"What? He's getting away!"
"I sense the stones energy in the other direction." She faced the west.
Do Yeon concentrated on the familiar energy of the stone and his sister was right he could read it in the opposite not in the east where the thief was.
"You're right . I can read it from there too." Do Yeon found it strange both of them could sense the stone elsewhere yet the thief was elsewhere.
The two siblings followed the energy of the stone and the person who had it on them leading them to some shady area . Do Yeon could detect the levels of dark sorcery in the surroundings .He was sure this was the infamous Gaema village.
"Be careful." He warned Bu Yeon who nodded as they got inside. On a table was the blue stone.
Do Yeon scoffed , "seeing how you are hiding you must be aware we were tailing you."
