Lana's pov: On the walk here I took some pictures but I'm thinking of posting so I'll do it tomorrow. We got inside and I got a red slushee and so did Nelson. "Oh my gosh you want to be me so badly" I say sarcastic my to Nelson. "Nah you want to be me" he says all sassy making the both of us laugh. I take a picture of our slushees and a pic of Nelson and I. (I'll put them in the next chapter when she posts) We both decided that we where gonna share a bag of takis. It was barely 8:45 and Nelson said , "do you want to go back to my house we can watch a movie and then Noah can drop you back off so your house before 10:30?" "Yeah let's do that" I say.
I can't believe I'm actually doing this going out of my comfort zone. We got to the cashier and we put our slushees and the bag of takis down and I got my phone out and opened Apple Pay, "Nelson I'm paying since I thought of this idea" I told him. "No I'm paying laylay chill" he said pulling his card out. "Nelson I swear I'm paying" I tell him about to tap my phone. He then pushes me behind him holding me around my waist and I try to tap my phone but he puts his card in and it went through. "Nelson Nuemann!" I yell kinda upset. "Lana it's okay" he says laughing. "No it's not I'm gonna Apple Pay you right now" going on my phone to Apple Pay him. He grabs my phone and puts it in his pocket. "No your not".
Nelson's pov: Laylay gets so cute when she's mad. I took her phone and put it in my pocket and she gave up. "You guys argue like a married couple" the cashier says. I look at her and blush and so does she. "Where just friends" Laylay says, "whatever you guys say" the cashier says laughing. We grab are stuff and walk out laughing. We start walking to my house and Lana is just quiet and drinking her slushee. "You can't be mad at me forever", "you weren't supposed to pay" she finally said something. "I'm big ballin don't worry bae" I told her realizing I accidentally said bae. Shit I stupid why I say that.
Lana's pov: Nelson just called me bae, I wasn't uncomfortable but it was unexpected and got me butterflies. The rest of the time it was silence we got to Nelson house and walked in quietly. We went to the living room and put our slushees and the bag of Takis on the living room table. I told him that I was gonna go say hi to Noah and Nile's. "Okay I'm gonna get a movie going on". I went to Noah's room quietly because I had to pass his parents room the door was closed but you never know. Noah was at his desk playing games so when I walked in I startled him. " Shit Lana What the fuck you scared what are you doing here? I thought you and Nelson where at 7/11?" He said so confused "Well we where but we decided to come and watch a movie do you wanna join?", "yeah sure I guess" he said still confused but laughing. "Wait does my mom and dad know your here? He said turning off his game console and walking with me to Nile's room. "No don't tell them cam doesn't know I'm here, also can you give me a ride back home?" I asked. "Yeah sure I'm gonna go meet Nelson down stairs" "okay I'll be down there in a sec".
I walked into Nile's room and he was excited that I was here. "Do you wanna go watch a movie with Nelson Noah and i down stairs?" " Yeah sure but let me show you my new shoes" he said.
Mean while down stairs. 3rd person: "Dude you didn't tell me you where gonna bring Laylay home" Noah said. "It was last minute sorry what movie should we watch?" Nelson said unbothered "Your ridiculous Nelson, let's watch a scary movie". Nelson pulled up the movie smile. noah and Nelson just waited for Lana and Nile's to come down. "What's taking them so long? Nelson told Noah. "Nile's is most likely showing Lana his new shoes." "Probably" Nelson said laughing. "Aye bro I got a question for you" Noah said, "Wsp?" Nelson said putting his phone down. "Do you like Laylay?" Noah questioned. Nelson got red and started laughing. "Yeah she's a cool friend" he said answering the question in a different response Noah was looking for. "No dude I mean like do you like like her as in date, marry whatever" Noah said knowing he does. Nelson got red and answered, "I'm not sure where getting to know each other and I don't know if she feels comfortable around me so I gotta gain that trust. And I don't want to make things weird if I tell her, but I guess I kinda do it's just I'm not gonna say anything." Nelson said that with his cheeks red and serious. Noah was surprised because he's never heard Nelson that serious over a girl. "I respect that just give her time you guys barely meet aye she probably like you back you never know" Noah said holding his shoulder. Finally laylay and Nile's walk down stairs.
Lana's pov: After Nile's showed me his shoe collection I asked him if he wanted to watch a movie with us. He said he's ofc and we walked downstairs quietly. I saw Noah and Nelson talking and it looked pretty serious. "Is everything okay?" I questioned "no yeah we were just chatting it up" Noah said smiling. We all sat on the couch Noah and Nile's where on the other side and Nelson and I where on the other. "What movie are we watching?" Nile's asked. "Smile the scary one." Nelson responded. "Oh nah that shit looks scary." I said. "It's Alr you got us" Nelson whispered in my ear. Nelson turned off the lights and started the movie.
The movie was starting to get scary and the more it did i got closer to Nelson. Finally it came to the point where we super close.

There was a jump scare and Nelson told me, "you get scared easily huh" he said looking at me laughing. "No I don't" I said "oh really cause you're holding on to my arm super tight right now" he said smiling while blushing. "Oh sorry" I said looking away smiling. I didn't even notice that I was holding onto him. We stayed in that position for the rest of the movie. Once the movie was over I realized it was already 11:00 pm. "Shit Nelson it's 11:00pm"I said getting up and putting my slides on. "Noah cmon" Nelson said. "Bye Nile's" I gave him a hug and we ran out the door getting into Noah's car. Nelson sat in the back with me. Although are houses weren't far apart it would get some traffic at weird times and it happened to be now. I was tired but Nelson noticed and started making conversation to keep me awake. "Hey do you wanna match tomorrow in the morning?" He asked "oh yeah I'm down I'm honestly just gonna wear this." I said. "Alr I'll wear my spider sweats and hoodie." He said. We got to my house and I thanked Noah for the ride and that I would see him again soon after Chicago. I got out the car and Nelson walked me to my door. "Bye Nelly see you tomorrow 6:45" I said taking off his hoodie to give back to him. "Bye laylay" he said giving me a hug. I walked back in my house and he walked back in the car. I headed straight to my room and knocked out.
Nelson's pov: We just dropped off Lana and im on the way home. "So I saw that she was wearing your hoodie and you guys where cuddling" Noah said looking at me laughing. "She was cold Alr and I wouldn't call it cuddling chill" I told him not having it. "Whatever you say". We got home and I went to my room. I put in the hoodie laylay borrowed it smelt like her. A strawberry sent. I couldn't go to sleep and I was scrolling through TikTok and came across a ship edit of me and laylay from cams shoe store video. It was to the song "glue" by beabadoobee. I liked it and added it to favorites. Eventually it was 12:00am and I got tired charged my phone and knocked out
