The next morning you woke up with the birds chirping, sun was rising, today was going to be a good day. The smell of sweet sixteen rising through the air.

Ghost was one of the first guys awake that morning. He woke up pretty early. He laid in bed thinking about today for a few minutes, then stood up and went to get dressed and freshen up for the day. He was secretly getting everything set up for a party. When Ghost was finished getting ready for the day, he stepped out of his room and began to walk out into the base where the others were already up and getting themselves ready for the day.

As you got up, there suddenly was a snap in the woods. You jerked your head back and instantly grabbed your knives you keep on you to see who it was. But there was no one...

Soap happened to be in the base's main room when he heard the sound, so he instantly stood up and walked to the nearby window, looking out into the direction where he thought the sound came from. It was probably just a deer or something but it was suspicious enough to cause concern.

"Weird" you mumbled and looked over to the hammock. It looked like there was a note. It was folded neatly, like someone had left it there on purpose. You opened it up and it read in very neat cursive...

I'm watching you.

You laughed as you thought it was one of the boys playing a trick on you. You bust in the room holding up the note "Ha ha which one of you-" you were surprised. You quickly shove the note back in your pocket. The whole base was decorated, and the boys were all sitting at the table waiting.

Ghost chuckled, a smile on his face as you busted into the room, only to be met with a surprise as you saw the place had been decorated, streamers and balloons everywhere. Soap and the others smiled as you stopped in your tracks and looked around.

"Wow you guys, you didn't need to do all of this" you say with sympathy.

Soap chuckled and leaned back in his chair with a cocky smirk on his face. "We know, but it's your 16th birthday, the big 1-6 kiddo, we need to do all of this to celebrate it somehow. Besides, I think you'll like your surprise."

You gasp and walk over at the tower of gifts on the table. "No way, are all of those for me?"

Ghost smiled as he leaned against the wall next to Soap, watching as you walked up to the pile of gifts. "Yeah they all are. Don't get too excited though, you haven't even opened a single one yet."

This is what it's like being raised by boys, you thought. "When did you guys ever get the time to do this?" You ask.

Soap shrugged. "A few of us went out yesterday while you were training to buy gifts."

Keegan chimed in as well. "Yeah, it wasn't all that hard to buy them." He said sarcastically.

The guys all watched as you opened a present from König. It was a smaller knife but easier to handle, it was wooden with very cool designs on it. You loved it and gave it the good ole finger test. König smiled sweetly as he saw you inspecting the knife he had gotten, then testing the sharpness on your finger. He was glad you appreciated the gift, not that he was worried that you wouldn't, but still. He was definitely proud that the gift was a good one and also that you were actually being careful about how your handled it.

While none of them would ever admit it, the way you were testing the sharpness by running the blade across your fingers was incredibly impressive to all of them. They could definitely tell it was something you were comfortable with.

"It's a beautiful knife... Thank you König" you say softly.

König nodded.

This next gift was from Keegan. You opened it up surprised to see that it was a mask just like his. You never admitted this to anyone, but Keegan was your favorite. Ghost smiled as you opened the present from Keegan, seeing the mask inside.
