It was an early Saturday morning as Ben was walking around Auradon. He was in a less common, secluded area. Ben noticed a young girl walking around too. She was too young to be out on her own. She also looked lost.
"Hi there." Ben said, cautiously approaching the girl as to not frighten her. But, the girl backed away from him.
"Hey, it's okay." Ben assured her. "I'm not going to hurt you."
The girl didn't say anything, but didn't back away either.
"Are you lost?" Ben asked.
The little girl nodded and then pointed towards the Isle.
"Are you from the Isle of the Lost?" Ben questioned. The girl nodded.
"What's your name?" Ben asked.
"Elyssia." The girl answered.
"It's nice to meet you, Elyssia." Ben said. "I'm Ben."
Elyssia's eyes widened. This was Prince Ben.
"How did you get here?" Ben asked.
Elyssia started walking away and Ben followed. She brought him to a small tunnel.
"I think my father abandoned me." Elyssia explained. "I was sleeping and woke up here."
"Come on." Ben said. "I'll get you some help."
Elyssia nodded and followed Ben.
Ben brought Elyssia to his parent's castle.
"Are you hungry?" Ben asked.
Elyssia nodded.
As Ben walked into the castle, the servants were around, getting ready for the day.
A young man, who was about ten years older than Ben, walked by them.
"Good morning, your Highness." He greeted Ben.
"Morning Chip." Ben returned the greeting. "Are my parents awake."
"They're both in the parlor." Chip replied.
"I need a few favors." Ben said.
"Anything." Chip said.
"Can you ask your Mom to make something for this girl please?" Ben started. "And can you ask Lumiere to send for Fairy Godmother asking her to come here. It's urgent."
"Will do." Chip said.
"Thank you." Ben said, before leading Elyssia to the parlor. His parents were sitting on the couch.
"Good morning, Ben." Belle greeted.
"You're up early this morning." Adam said.
"Yeah, I went for a walk this morning." Ben replied. "There's something I wanted to tell you guys."
"What's is it?" Adam asked.
Elyssia had been hiding behind Ben, so Belle and Adam hadn't noticed her yet.
"It's okay." Ben assured her.
Elyssia poked her head out from behind Ben.
"Who is she?" Belle asked.
"Her name's Elyssia." Ben explained. "I found her alone while I was walking."
Just then, Chip walked in with a plate of toast and orange juice.
"Lumiere sent for Fairy Godmother." He said.
"Thank you, Chip." Ben said, taking the plate and going over a table. "Here you go, Elyssia."
"Thank you." Elyssia said, softly before taking a seat.
"Why did you send for Fairy Godmother?" Belle asked.
Ben glanced at Elyssia, who was preoccupied with eating her meal, before answering.
"She's from the Isle." He replied.
"What?" Adam asked.
"She said her father abandoned her. But, she didn't tell me who her father was." Ben added.
"How did she get here?" Belle asked.
"I'm not sure exactly." Ben said. "When I asked, she showed me a smell tunnel."
Just then, Lumiere walked in.
"Fairy Godmother is here." He said.
"Thank you, Lumiere." Ben said. "You can send her in."
A moment later, Fairy Godmother was standing in the parlor.
"What's so urgent, Ben?" Fairy Godfather asked.
Ben reiterated everything to Fairy Godmother.
"The Endless Catacombs." She said, referring to how Elyssia got here.
"What are those?" Ben asked.
"When your father and I took away magic from the Isle, it had to go somewhere." Fairy Godmother explained. "The magic must created underground tunnels that connected to Auradon."
Ben nodded.
"Who's her father?" Fairy Godmother asked.
"She didn't tell me." Ben said.
They all looked over towards Elyssia, who was still eating.
"Let me." Ben said. "I don't want to frighten her by having us all approach her."
"I have files on everyone on the Isle." Adam said. "Why don't I just look to see who her parents are."
They all nodded and Adam walked out of the parlor.
Ben walked over to Elyssia. "Enjoying your meal?" He asked, sitting next to her.
Elyssia nodded.
"Do you want any more?" Ben asked.
Elyssia was quiet. She wanted more, but didn't want to be greedy. Which was exactly what villain kids were supposed to be.
"You can have more, if you'd like." Ben said.
Elyssia shook her head, despite still being hungry.
"Can you tell me how old you are?" Ben asked.
"Six." Elyssia said.
Ben smiled at her before going back over to the adults as his father walked back into the room.
"So?" Fairy Godmother asked.
"Her parents are Claude Frollo." Adam started. He paled a bit before finishing. "And the Enchatress."
"What do we do with her?" Belle asked.
"Send her back." Adam said. "She doesn't belong here."
"No!" Elyssia exclaimed. "Please don't send me back!"
"It's okay, Elyssia." Ben said before turning back to his father. "We are not sending her back. She'll stay here in Auradon."
The adults just nodded in agreement.
