When Ivy got to school, it felt like she was an orange in a box of apples. No one knew her, unlike back home. She was scared, lonely.

In the middle of class, she discovers that the lessons being taught here are way too easy. They're all lessons that she  had already learned back in elementary school.

Instead of take notes on how to multiply decimals, she took out her notebook and started writing something.

Lonely

Like a little stray kitten, I was with my family of cats
We weren't related nor knew each other before, but we stuck together like we were one
Nothing could've gone against us, we were all we needed
We looked up, the sky went dark
Thunder rumbled, we fled the area
The wind blew, rain fell, lightning struck
It was cold, I couldn't run
I was weak, and eventually, the storm took me with it
I should fight, but I couldn't
I was weak
The storm took me away from my family
And now, I'm lonely
Scared, weak, cold, skinny
In a place where I knew no one and no one knew me
In a world of cruelty, a world full of evils that I can't understand
I lost my family, my family lost me
And now, I'm nothing else but lonely
