-3rd POV-

It was now early in the morning, or late at night. Lucy was out on the room's deck watching the stars and has been for most of the night. She couldn't sleep, there was to many things to process.

Natsu on the other hand was also awake inside, he woke up a couple hours ago. He also couldn't sleep to well. Instead he has been staring at the ceiling just thinking about the last couple of days.

Needing to take a walk Natsu stood up and proceeded to look around. He noticed that Lucy was not sleeping in the bed with Wendy and proceeded to look at the sliding door. Now knowing she was outside he decided to follow her.

Natsu was able to get out to the deck silently and wrapped his arms around her waist. At first Lucy tensed not expecting the sudden contact but soon relaxed at the firmiliar warmth and pink hair out of the corner of her eye. Natsu just rested his head on her shoulder as she leaned on the railing.

"What are you doing awake Natsu?" Lucy asked.

"Well I couldn't sleep, but could also ask you the same question. " Natsu replied quietly.

"I was just thinking". Lucy said turning around to now face Natsu. She hugged him back. The two just stood there for a little while just keeping each other company with their embrace.

"Thank you." Lucy says, breaking the silence.

"I'll always come get you Luce, no matter what." Natsu replies lifting her head and resting thier foreheads against each other.

As the night deepened and the stars continued to shimmer above, Lucy and Natsu stood there on the deck, wrapped in each others arms. The silence between them was comforting, a shared space of unspoken understanding.

Natsu brought his hand up and gently líderes Lucy's chin, his touch tender as he tilted her head slightly. Their eyes meet, and in that fleeting moment, the weight of their unspoken thought and emotions seemed to crystallize. He leaned in, his breath warm against her face, and Lucy's eyes fluttered closed.

Thier lips met in a soft hesitant kiss, a quiet exploration that soon deepened with the warmth of their shared affection. The kiss was gentle, filled with the tenderness of all the words left unspoken and the comfort of knowing they had each other.

When they finally pulled away, Thier foreheads rested together once again, their breaths mingling. Natsu's eyes were soft, full of a promise that transcended words. "I love you Luce, and I have for a long time." He whispered.

Lucy smiled, her heart full. "I love you too, Natsu." She replied, her voice barely more than a breath, but lout enough for the slayer to hear clearly. As they stood there, embraced in the early morning light, it felt as though the world had narrowed down to just the two of them, perfectly in sync.

After a while both mages went back inside they layed down on the couch that Natsu was previously laying on. As they lay on the couch, content, the warmth of each other lulled the two to sleep.

Natsu rapped his arms around Lucy pulling her closer to him and put his face in the crook of her neck. Lucy felt at home in Natsu's warm arms pulling her into a deep sleep. They both quickly fell into a peaceful sleep.

As the sun shone through the room, Team Natsu woke up and started to head to the station. The celestial and fire mage walked hand in hand towards the train for home, receiving looks from their friends and relentless teasing from a certain blue cat. Unbothered, they all got onto the train towards thier home, and towards whatever new normal awaits the new couple.
