I'm not sure if I should post this here or at the beginning of the story, but for now, I will keep it here. What I want to say is that while I initially categorized my story as romance, it’s not entirely suitable for that category. Yes, it includes intense and real love, but in a mad, overwhelming way, not in the normal sense we usually expect. As the title suggests, this is not a typical love story where love blooms normally. Neither the title nor the plot I'm going with suggests that.
This is a story of love that is forced, overwhelming, and makes you behave in twisted ways. We can't expect it to be like any other stepdaughter-stepdad love story where they just fall in love. This story includes trauma from the past and is based on one-sided love that manipulates the other not by words but by actions. It’s a tale of actual madness.
I’m not sure if everyone will like it, and it's not like the usual stories that come to mind to be liked by others. It just flows naturally. But still, if I'm doing something wrong that I should not, and you have suggestions, I would be happy to listen. If it makes sense, I'll definitely follow them.
Today I received a comment that made me wonder: Should I keep this story in the romance category? If not that, then what category should I post it in? It's not horror either; it's just creepy or even I'm not sure about this . Please let me know your thoughts.
