I remember kalideo. kalideo was really the only one who was there for me when I was a kid. my remember my siblings thinking he was creepy. a clown weasel who may or may not be some sort of animatronic or puppet of some sort? what's there to be afraid of? its just a guy with some makeup. even if it wasn't an actor, then he would still have to be controlled. there's no way a children's entertainer would hurt you, right?
kalideo lived on the streets like me, sort of. his stage was in an alley and free for all. but I wonder why it was so isolated.
the mysterious cat, I think his name was vile or something, told me that kalideo was alive. I felt something. finally. I think it was excitement, or happiness. I couldn't tell. all I know for sure is that I was bouncing on my feet and couldn't stop bothering vile until we got to go to kalideo's circus.
the small tent used to be so much more lively. LED lights would be strung all around the tent, and there was also a snack bar. the tent used to be bright red that attracted passerbys, and the sound of children could always be heard from inside. the tent was small, more like a fort. which meant that only about 10 children could fit inside at a time. kalideo's circus wasn't ever really well known, you only really found out about to endless you went to the edge of downtown or somebody told you about it. because of it's unpopularity, it was common for street rats to go there for entertainment. it was honestly pretty sad to know that such an appealing place with such a great person running it is so unpopular. I wonder how kalideo's doing now.
