When NASA, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, starts and funds a new program for children to be sent to space in hopes of starting the first functioning society there, they start a pen pal system as well for those children to feel close to home. Toby, the son of Prof. Elizondo, one of the men that approved and funds the project, gets matched with a passenger known as Arya. When Toby gets the chance to visit the ship to get a tour of the project, he starts to notice that things aren't exactly as they seem. There are lies, secrets that unfold, and him having to figure out how to save Arya before it's too late.
