What time was it? I really wasn't sure when SSundee would get here and hoped the potion would hold long enough. I shivered, because in the ocean temple where I and Crainer hid it was cold. The dark prismarine blocks, the main building block of the monument, made it hard to recognise anything. I was in a big hall in a dark theme, the pillars full of decor. Shells, pearls. Stuff like that. The back of the hall was hidden from unwanted looks, with no Lights. The mix of the dark blocks with the bit of brighter prismarine blocks made the monument look holy, like constructed by a god.
The sea lanterns every thirty blocks didn't help. There! A movement. I narrowed my eyes to see better. It was a dark clothed person. For sure not Crainer, his rainbow shirt was too significant. My hand laid on the handle of my diamond sword, ready to attack. Adrenaline ran through my veins and a feeling of horror creeped up in my bones. Who was that? In the moment, the unknown turned their back in my direction, so I slowly started to back up in the shadows, my eyes rushed around to find an exit if needed. The person turned around, starring right at me like it would see me. I tried to calm my breath. The purple eyes glowed dooming in the dark. The shadow creature swam away and my suspicious glace followed the presence. Whatever it was, it felt wrong. And it definitely wasn't a human. The legs...were weird...like an Octopus. Like Tentacles.
The next movement almost jumpscared me. It was one of the big fishies, an ugly creature of an ancient dimension with a horrible colour palette of orange and some type of turquoise. And the eyes. I personally would be too ashamed to even leave my room with these. A diamond sword stabbed right through the chest of the monster, causing it to turn into smoke, dropping some weird shards which looked similar to the walls around me. The wielder of the sword slowly dived down deeper, now I recognised it was Ian. A shiver of relieve ran through me, even though I wasn't able to shake off the feeling of unease and something wrong. His face hid in the shadows, the light made him barely visible. He slowly made his way through the big hall and twitched at the slightest noise. Unusual for him, the strong, though, big guy. Something seemed to terrify him. At his expression the knot in my stomach area just got worse. But personally, I couldn't hide a bit of admiration because he wasn't running against anything, which I would call impossible with shades in the deep water, the only light being the dark sea lanterns, shimmering in a mysterious shimmer. The shades reflected the light on the wall and in my face. I wonder why he wears these anyway. Hmmm. I'm gonna ask him later. He crossed the whole room and made his way into Crainer's room. There, it was quiet for an awful time. Even though it was just seconds, it felt like hours. Like the time drowned in honey. Of course that could be of the water, but...my expectations got confirmed with a frightened scream. "CRAINER!"
