Etheria, Before the Disappearance of the First Ones...
Mara ran through the halls, trying to reach her ship while armed guards chased after her. She knew that the Heart of Etheria was dangerous and would destroy everything if she didn't do something. She had a plan, of course: to send Etheria into another universe and sacrifice herself to stop the heart from activating. After evading the guards, she eventually arrived at her ship and launched it into space, preparing to send Etheria into another world.
Inside the ship, she was filled with regret and guilt for trusting the First Ones. She had believed that being She-Ra would make her a hero, but instead, she had been used as a weapon by her people and by Lighthope. As the ship reached orbit, she started to plan something unthinkable.
Mara: (Sighs) I'm sorry. But this is for the greater good.
She steered the ship toward the planet's core, which housed the weapon. As she rammed into the weapon, she began recording herself. At that moment, she remembered all the things she enjoyed on Etheria. How had it come to this? Corruption, greed, and power. But she was determined to put a stop to it on her planet.
Mara's ship hit the ground with full force as it stopped the Heat of Etheria, and transported her planet into another universe. After her sacrifice, she experienced nothingness and saw a black void. Then, she materialized into a large chamber room. Gasping for air, she looked around the chamber, thinking she had died after the sacrifice. As she stood up and coughed, the chamber's door opened to reveal three hooded figures.

Mara: W-Who--? Who are you?!
Green Figure: Do not be alarmed, Mara. You're safe here.
Mara: H-How do you know my name?
Green Figure: I know more than your name Mara, you're a She-Ra warrior from the Planet of Etheria.
