"Stay behind me and shut up," I said to Gabrielle, obviously annoyed. It's a mutual feeling

she rolled her eyes at me, ignoring me like I didn't just speak.

"relax adrian it's just a game. don't kill her, don't kill her." I spoke to myself, mentally calming myself down.

"I see someone," she spoke, then ran off.

"Drop your guns and hands up." I heard the lovely voice of my wife behind me. Obediently, I dropped my laser gun and lifted my hands.

I could've shot her if I wanted to, but I won't.

"Now turn around slowly.." she said playfully, trying to imitate a cop. Again, I obeyed and turned to face her.

"You wouldn't shoot me, darling, si?" I said again, winking at her, and then she rolled her pretty eyes at me

for some reason her pointing the gun at me looked attractive as fuck.

walking closer to her, I lowered my face so I could be at eye level with her short frame, compared to me at least.

"No," I simply said, placing my hands on her waist, I brought my face back to stare directly at her pretty face.

my eyes landed on her lips, and I had the sudden urge to kiss her plum lips, I was leaning in to kiss her when I heard someone yell.

"ADRIAN, IT'S A TRAP," Gabby screamed, and before I could react, someone laser shot me, and lia shot at Gabby, but she dodged just in time and went out of site.

I looked behind me and saw ayrain. that fucker this was probably his idea.

"Never let your guards down, dear brother," he chuckled, grabbing Liana's hand then winked at me before roughly pulling my wife away with him.

"Essere gentile con lei, coglione" I hissed at how tightly he was holding her.

"Oops sorry lia" he loosened his grip on her hand and then pulled her with him gently, but not before Liana mouthed what looked like a "sorry" before she was gone.

"You idiot," Gabrielle said, coming out of her hiding spot.

"You killed so many others before without hesitation, but when it came to lia, your sense of decorum was nowhere to be found." she face palmed herself, looking at me utterly disappointed.

"she was tempting, I tried," I half lied, I mean, yes, she was tempting, but the 'tried' part? an absolute lie.

if time were to reverse, I would repeat it all over again but with a slight change, which is kissing her quickly before getting shot.

"C'mon, leave the arena," she sighed, turning her back to me, then left.
