"Okay so basically you will lure Adrian into false expectation and then shoot him si?" ayrain said whilst hiding behind a rock with me and one other of our teammates.

so far half our squad had been wiped out by Ayrain and Gabby, guess we needed the luck.

"why do I have to be the one to shoot him" I said

"ugh fine, you distract him and I will take care of the rest," he said to me then turned to our teammate behind me.

"you go quickly and run over there, do it in a way only the girl with that guy would see," ayrain said referring to Gabby and Adrian.

"Okay guys 3,2,1, go," he said counting down dismissively

when I saw Gabby was out of sight I quickly went behind Adrain.

"Drop your guns and hands up," I said to him, and to my surprise he obeyed.

"Now turn around slowly.." I said trying to imitate how police say it in the movies. again he obeyed

"Hey wifey," he teased, making me smile shyly

"You wouldn't shoot me, darling, si?" he said again, winking at me, to which I responded with an eye roll

he looked like he was enjoying this.

walking closer to me, he lowered himself to my face so he could be at eye level with me.

"Backup a-drain'm warning you," I for some reason stuttered.

"No," he simply said, placing his hands on my waist, before bringing his face back to stare directly at me.

at this point, I completely forgot about ayrains plan and was just intoxicated by the moment.

his eyes landed on my lips, then was leaning in to kiss me when I heard Gabby's voice yell.

"ADRIAN, IT'S A TRAP," Gabby screamed, and before I could react, someone laser shot at Adrian, I took the opportunity to aim at Gabby but she was fast and dodged just in the nick of time.

how did she find out our plan?

I looked behind me and saw ayrain. with a cheeky grin.

"Never let your guard down, dear brother," he chuckled, grabbing my hand then winked at Adrian before roughly pulling me.

why the fuck is his grip so strong?

"Essere gentile con lei, coglione" adrian hissed at ayrain

"Oops sorry lia," ayrain apologised before losing his grip on my hand and then pulling me with him gently, but not before I mouthed a "sorry" to Adrian

he just smirked...and that wasn't a very friendly smirk...he's not letting this slide.

"gabby almost ruined everything" ayrain laughed.

"How did she find out?" I asked

"I was on my way to you when I saw her shoot our bait after threatening him to tell her where we are and the idiot ratted us out, luckily I was quick enough to get to you just in time," he said to which I nodded attentively.

"Okay players we have 3 players left and 2 minutes before one of the teams carries the title home, which will be the lucky team?" the announcer said

"3 players? so that means Gabby is our last target" I said and this time it was ayrian turn to nod

"hey sweetie," I randomly heard Gabby's voice before I could react she shot me, then quickly aimed at ayrain but just like her he dodged and was out of site.

"fuck" I said and Gabby just laughed evilly clearly proud of her surprise attack.

"shu shu," she said then left to probably find ayrain.

no doubt Gabby will win this.

I took my laser jacket off heading outside the arena.

on going out I found Adrian outside with that same girl from earlier talking to him and he looked uncomfortable given how close she was to him.

I made it clear that man was taken, perhaps I wasn't clear enough?
