Astra's second day at Alfea started well enough. Breakfast in the bustling dining hall, filled with first years excited for their second round of new classes.

The first class, Potionology, quickly dampened her spirits. Professor Palladium's lecture on safety and proper handling of ingredients and supplies was long and boring. Astra took her notes seriously (because poisonous fumes and acidic spills are not something she wants to suffer through). As the professor droned on about the dangers of improperly stored fire lily petals and the correct way to extract the essence from moonflower blossoms, Astra glanced around and noticed a few other students struggling to stay awake.

Thankfully, the next class, Botany and Herbology, was more engaging. The greenhouse was a vibrant, living space filled with exotic and magical plants that seemed to energize Professor Palladium. He led the class with enthusiasm, explaining the unique properties of various herbs and how they could be used in potions and spells. Astra found herself captivated by a plant that glowed softly in the shade, its leaves shimmering with a silver light. She took diligent notes, eager to learn more about this fascinating subject.

The highlight of her day, however, was Creative Arts. Astra eagerly looked forward to this class, where she could truly dive into music. Musa's innate talent was on full display, her flute performance was particularly captivating, her melodies weaving through the room. Astra watched in awe, feeling both inspired and motivated to enhance her own musical skills. This class offered a refreshing change from the more theoretical subjects, providing Astra with a chance to express herself creatively.

At lunch, Tecna proudly placed Astra's highly modified phone in front of her, and said matter-of-factly, "Altered to work from anywhere in the universe. You're welcome."

Astra laughs and scoops up the enhanced phone, "Nice! Thanks, Tecna!"

"Test it out and see how it performs. Let me know if you need any adjustments."

Astra beams at her, "You got it!"

Excitedly, she sent a text to a friend, which went through seamlessly. Moments later, she received a response. "Nice! I'll call my parents later and check the connection."

Tecna smiled, satisfied. "Okay."

The day concluded with Magical Combat with three professors: Griselda, Palladium, and Astrid.

The session began with introductions from each professor, outlining their backgrounds and specialties. Griselda emphasized the importance of discipline and strategic thinking in combat. Palladium discussed the integration of spatial awareness and potion skills into combat scenarios, while Astrid highlighted the necessity of quick reflexes and adaptability. Together, they set clear expectations for what the students should achieve by the end of the year, including mastering basic and advanced combat techniques, honing their individual magical skills, and learning how to effectively collaborate in battle scenarios.

Throughout the day, Astra found herself increasingly captivated by Alfea's natural beauty. She took advantage of her free time to explore the campus, capturing stunning photographs of the lush gardens, vibrant flower beds, and tranquil landscapes. Each click of her camera seemed to reveal a new facet of Alfea's enchanting environment, deepening her appreciation for the magical world she was now a part of.

After a week of adjusting to her new life at Alfea, Astra has finally gotten the hang of her magic and settled into her classes. The initial anxiety had given way to a comfortable routine, and she was beginning to feel at home.
