My Mother was always known as the most talkative person in all of Auradon. She would never stop.

She could change the conversation topic ten times but she would never stop talking until she was dragged away by my Father. That is one of the reasons why i think they are so good together.

"Sweetie, maybe we should look at the food on the other side of the room" or

"Honey, how about you have a drink"

No, he said anything but the words 'stop talking' and it was his way of telling my Mother that he cares even after all the years they have been together. He reminds her that he understands why she talks so much, why she feels like she has to use her voice at all times, otherwise it will be gone forever.

One thing that you are never taught at Auradon is how to cope with your parents trauma. Everyone that goes to Auradon has the same kind of parents- they are all good people who had horrible things happen to them. Maybe i should campaign for that class to be added....

Between everyone being born in their Parents shadows and also having pressure to always be good, i found that being half mermaid worked in my favour. After a long day i would always swim out to sea and stay out their as long as possible without any care in the world, however everything comes with surprises.

One day, when i was swimming around out at sea, i got curious about the isle of the lost. Everyone at Auradon tries to live as if it doesn't exist. They try to brush it off as if it is, well... some lost cause.

I only intended to look through the barrier, to even just catch a glimps of what life was like oppositely to everything i had know, but then i noticed something i was never meant to notice.

The further i swam down to the ocean floor, the thinner the barrier became- so thin, in fact, one day i even dared to stick my hand through.

After that i slowly ended up going through the barrier entirely, over time, and each time i considered spending the day on the isle until one day i did.

I spent the day sneaking around in the shadows, and i was going unnoticed by everyone. I only spent two hours there, maximum, in fear of being found, but it became my second little get away space.

On the isle there were constant stores selling objects that would have no value in Auradon, what's so ever, but to me each trinket held a memory.

My Dad would jokingly complain that i got it from my Mother, but either way i loved finding bits of treasure that was other peoples trash. But as my visits became more frequent, i decided to start burying my goods under the sand for safe keeping. I kept them just inside the isle boarder, on the sea floor, where no one but me could find them.

But that didn't stop me from going back for more. I had gotten away with my occasional isle visits unnoticed for about a month, but that was when i ran into him.

Harry Hook.

He was patrolling the docks for Uma when he spotted me slipping back into the water after a day spent on the isle.

He had grabbed my hand just as my legs turned into a tail and i was trapped- top half out of the water and bottom half fish.

We had both just looked at each other, unsure what to do.

He had never seen a mermaid before and i had never met someone from the isle before.

After a minute, however, he found his voice and the sound made my heart flutter.
