Today marked not only the return to classes but also the day she would meet her assigned Recessotoirs.
Liv's POV
As I'm going through the crowd trying to see the assigned board and look for my friends at the same time
"Multitasking isn't really your thing is it? You look a bit stressed" Blake mumbles beside me
excitement and apprehension swirls in my chest at the moment I don't even realize the blue haired guy beside me
Looking around my eyes landed on the elephants in the room. Jade and Amber, notorious troublemakers, always seemed to find ways to disrupt any semblance of calm. I've learned to avoid them at all costs.
As they approached the courtyard where the Recessotoir assignments would be announced, my heart raced with anticipation
"Huh..Wait what? Who are you." She scoffs
"Seems somebody's too short to see the board from here"
Blake shrugs
"Side eye... do I know you" I roll my eyes
"We were literally on the same earth committee together are you a bit slow liv?.." he says the last part quietly .
"Oh shoot, sorry" I apologize quickly and sarcastically as I collect my thoughts and the realization finally hits me to recognize who I'm talking to right now
"It's all good, Anyways if you're still looking for your friends they're over there to your left!" He shouts and the crowd causes us to drift away in an instance
My eyes rush to the left frantically searching for Hope and Amelia "Wait how did yo-" when I turn to meet his eyes he was already gone.. I simply shrug to myself and manoeuvre my way to the girls
Hope and Amelia flanked her, their presence comforting amidst the chaotic sea of students.
"Oh my gosh I forgot to ask him what he meant about the board " liv groaned
Hope gives her a questionable look "what are you talking about?"
"Right?? Where did you even appear from"Amelia shouts unable to be heard over the darn crowd
"Soo you guys are telling me you didn't see that." Livs says shockingly
.... "alright then"
Lost in my train of thought Hope yanks both me and Amelia to get closer to the board.
"OH MY GOSH.." Amelia shouts
The air around here seemed charged with nervous energy, heightened by the presence of students eagerly waiting to discover their partners.
"BRO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?? YOU SHOULD FEEL LUCKY YOUR WITH ICE PRINCE ACE" hope screams back
"I BEG TO DISAGREE HIM??? PROTECT. ME. YOUR MAD... he's just so cold hearted and to himself not a chance in the world" Amelia points out
I pout at the sad truth she's too real.. "I meann you also have his best friend Ethan"
"Cant argue with that one" hope states
"You HAVE to be kidding me. Well he is a cutie tho have you heard him giggle??" She coos
"Alr bro your odd" liv says
