Foundation of Marriage

Prologue

The story starts from the pre-wedding functions of Payal and Akash. What if on the engagement day when Arnav asks Khushi what happened with her engagement, how did it break, she ends up telling him? There are a few changes in my story line. Payal decides to come clean with Akash about Shyam. Also, Shyam is behind Arnav and wants to kill him, not Anjali. So the scorpion bites Arnav, the ether is sprayed on his clothes and his car's brakes tampered with during the pre-wedding functions. 

I never really understood Payal's stand of hiding Shyam's reality from Akash. During her first marriage fiasco she did the right thing by not standing for the guy who wanted dowry. But here she was in the wrong, how could she envision a smooth married life with Akash even after hiding such a big thing from him. Not Khushi but she was the one getting related to the Raizadas by marriage so she should have taken a firmer stand in this matter. 

This is a different take on the couples of the show and their lives. How would the lives of all the siblings be different had Payal decided to support the truth? Will Akash trust her or not? Guptas didn't really have any solid proof against Shyam will that cause Payal's marriage to break yet again? Will Khushi's initial confession to Arnav about her broken engagement strike some ringing bells in the Arnav's heads?
