Chapter 25

Tino was on his laptop at home, searching the name Hannah Smith frantically. His fingers were cramping,and his eyes red from staring at the computer screen for so long.How hard could it be to find the right Hannah Smith? Apparently very hard. There were thousands in the USA, and even hundreds in New York.

"Found anything yet?",Tony asked as he paced the floor.

Tino's palms started sweating, his eyes fixed on the computer without a blink. "Not yet."

As he searched the internet database he had available for police investigators only, he could see any small connection anyone as long as it was picked up electronically.

"I think this is the right Hannah Smith. 29 years old, lives in New York City. Related to Jade Thompson-Smith."

Tony stopped pacing and ran up to the screen."Sounds like her. I'm sure that's gotta be her."

As Tino scrolled through all of the electronic information,there must've been thousands of pieces of information. It included everything from her social media friends,to where she was picked up anywhere by a cellphone location,also telling if anyone else was picked up by a cellphone at that same spot.

Tino stopped after a few minutes of scrolling. He blinked his eyes, getting his focus back as he felt the stale tiredness in his eyes."Wow, you really don't know just how much information other people can have on you until you do work like this."

" This is why I don't allow location on my cellphone.", Tony said shaking his head,his long dark hair now in a messy ponytail from playing with it so much out of anxiousness.

"Why? So I can't see when you sneak out with Vanessa while you're supposed to be working?", Tino chuckled.

"I don't know what you're talking about.", Tony said with an overly serious expression. "I never push work aside. Not even for Vanessa. I always do my job."

Tino rolled his eyes."Whatever you say."

"Oh yeah? And what is that supposed to mean?",Tony chuckled

"Just that sometimes you text Vanessa during work and sometimes you sneak out to see her. You don't think I notice that you're gone for 20 minutes?"

Tony didn't say a word, but simply sat and smiled mischievously."How long is this gonna take?", Tony whined like a child, anxious to see if Hannah truly did have a connection to Jade.

"I don't know."Tino groaned in reply." At this rate, it could be all night."

Tony sighed, running one hand though his hair,taking down the band out of his ponytail that was only now about half up. When it came to information about Tia, time dragged on for what seemed like an eternity. Then bingo...he came across exactly what he was looking for.

Tino stopped scrolling and fixed his attention on what seemed to be the impossible. His eyes were locked on the screen as he held his breath and then let it out."Here it is. I can't believe it." Tino's breath got deep and shallow." Tony look!"

As Tony looked at the screen he felt a wave of mixed emotions. He was filled with hope, joy, and a bit of sadness. His heart fell to his stomach. Time actually seemed to slow down for a few moments,much like you see in the movies. The screen read:
Hannah Smith location: 7227 James Avenue, New York City New York. Also located: Samuel Jones and Tatiana Bertelli and Jaden Sage. Date: Wednesday, February, 2nd,2009 / Time: 10:46 am.

"February of 2009?!", Tony exclaimed."That was just one month before Tia disappeared! And Hannah was with her?! And Sammy?!"

Tino tried to take some very calm, deep, breaths. "Tia disappeared March 1rst. This has to have a connection. But what?!" He swung his chair around to where his brother was. They both tried to calm down as their hearts beater fast. They had come closer to finding their sister, and they knew that they couldn't mea this up now. Whatever they did, whatever their next steps would be, they must make sure they didn't do anything wrong.

Tino thought hard about the address. 7227 James Avenue. He knew that he had heard of that address from somewhere. "That's it! 7227 James Avenue! That was the bad part of the city next to the school. Remember?", he asked Tony frantically." It was the part where all of the troubled kids went to for drugs and booze."

Yes,I do remember!",Tony exclaimed as he tried to piece the puzzle together." But why would Tia have ever went there? And why was Sammy and Hannah there? And who the heck is Jaden Sage?!",Tony asked in an angered tone. He couldn't believe that this whole time they had been so sweet to Hannah,she might have known what happened to their sister.

"I don't know,but I'm going to try to find out who Jaden is to start with" ,Tino exclaimed." He swung his chair back around,trying to find out any other connections to the name Jaden Sage. "This is weird. There isn't anymore locations involving that Jaden."

"How can that be?",Tony asked mad and confused."Unless his location accidentally got turned on during that one occasion."

"Is that actually possible?",Tino asked.

"Yeah ofcourse.Like I said,I leave my locations off. But once in a while I'll accidentally hit 'allow location permission.' Then I have to go right to my settings and fix it."

Tino put his hands over his overly worked,exhausted,red,eyes,rubbing them repeatedly. "What do we do now?",he wined.

"Is there no other locations picked up that shows Hannah and Tia together?",Tony asked.

"I don't know.",Tino replied, thinking about the hours of work he had before him. "It took me just 45 minutes to find this one location. And there are hundreds more locations to check out. I'm going to be looking through this all night."

"Don't worry,I'll be right here with you all night." Tony covered his mouth with his hand and rubbed his upper lip with his fingers. He thought deeply about everything for a moment,knowing that they had to make sure to not make the wrong moves. "Hannah.",he said with an angry look as his eyebrows scrunched up and his jaw clenched." We have to interrogate Hannah."
