Episode 1: Gem Glow

[7 Years Later]

Y/N woke up and yawned, rubbing his eyes and looked around. He saw the gems had gathered around the fridge, stuffing something in the freezer. Y/N got up and walk to the gems. "Don't just stuff them in, they'll get smushed!" The gem known as Pearl argued as Amethyst continued to push the items in the fridge. "Chill P, its gonna be frozen anyway." Garnet stood to the side and watched the two bicker. Y/N walked up to Pearl and look into the freezer. 'Cookie Cat ice cream?' Y/N questioned. 

Pearl noticed the child. "Oooooh Y/N, you're up! How did you sleep." Y/N thumbs up and then pointed at the freezer stuffed with ice cream. "Why do you have a bunch of cookie cats?" Pearl clasp her hands together. "For Steven! They ran out of them so we decided to buy them for steven and you!" The freezer door slammed closed, startling Y/N and Pearl. "Boom, easy squeezy. Told you it would fit." Before either one of them could reply, a centipede like creature latched onto Y/N's face. "Y/N!!" the crystal gems panicked (mainly Pearl) as Y/N flailed his arms, trying to get the centipede off his face.

Garnet ripped the centipede off of Y/N's face and examined the creature. "A Centipeetle..." Out of nowhere multiple Centipeetles jumped out of hiding a ransacked the house. The gems summoned their weapons. "You can sit this one out if you want Y/N." Garnet spoke but Y/N shook his head and summoned a smaller version of Garnets which were black and had bits of orange on the knuckles. The crystal gems dispersed and started poofing the Centipeetles. The gems split up andstart handling the centipeetles, as they do so steven walks in.

"Hey guys! You wont believe thi-!" He was cut off by a centipeetle jumping on top of him, knocking him back onto the floor. Steven screamed, fortunately the centipeetle was pulled off of him by a purple whip revealing amethyst. "Sup Steven." She yanked the centipeetle across the room. Steven looked over at Y/N, watching as he slammed a centipeetle into the ground and poof it. "Hey Y/N! Guess what!" Y/N looked over at Steven but immediately got tackled by a bunch of centipeetles. "Hey Steven, just give me a minute." He grabed the centipeetles and threw them off of him. "Gotta take care of this first" Y/N rushed to get more centipeetles.

Pearl was handling a swarm of centipeetles with her spear, slashing and kicking them away from her. Garnet catches a soaring centippetle and breaks its back with her knee. She then uses the broken centipeetle against a incoming centipeetle, punching the last two around her. Steven looks at a wandering centipeetle in awe. "Awesome! What are these things?" STeven asked. "Sorry Steven, we'll get these centipeetles out of your room. We think their trying to get into the temple." Pearl says as she holds a centipeetle in her arms as it thrashes around. "You don't have to get rid of them, their really cool!" Steven spoke.

Suddenly, the centipeetle that Pearl was holding spit out some green acid that burned a small hole through the floor. "Cool but deadly..." Y/N said as he rips a centipeetle apart. Amethyst threw a centipeetle against a wall, poofing it. "Umm you guys..." She picked her nose "These things don't have gems." Garnet walked up to Pearl and Steven "That means there must be a mother somewhere nearby." She punches a incoming centipeetle into oblivion. "We should probably find it before somebody gets hurt." Pearl states as she continues to hold the thrashing centipeetle.

"oh! Can I come?!" Steven asked with stars in his eyes. "Steven, until you and Y/N learn to control the powers of your gem, we'll take care of protecting humanity" She snapped the neck of the centipeetle she was holding "Ok?" Steven looked down sadly. "Aww man" He saw a centipeetle ransacking the fridge. "Hey! Get out of there!" He runs up to the centipeetle and shoos it off. "Shoo! Shoo!" He looked at the spilled milk. "Aww man, they got into everything..." The shooed off centipeetle left but was stopped by Y/N looking down at the centipeetle menacingly. "Not cool!" Steven yelled out to the previously shooed centipeetle which was now flying through the air, poofing.
