We both get so caught up into each other that we don't hear the footsteps of two people.

" LAENYRA" my father yells.

Me and Daemon separate fast when i hear another voice " Daemon", it's Rhaenyra's voice.

" YOU HAVE SHAMED HER " my father yells more.

I stand in front of daemon " No stop he didn't take advantage of me, i love him" 

Before I could get another sentence out I felt a hard force of a stinging slap to my face.

" Quiet girl, you will not speak unless spoken to" my father shouts at me.

I feel him grab my arm and he shouts at the guards " Summon the king and my brother for a meeting in the throne room now" He looks at the other knight and points to Daemon, " bring him too".

Before I knew it we were In Front of the king and others.

" What is the meaning of this summon Lord Vaemond, tis late in the night" the king lets out a tired sigh.

With tears coming down my face my father points at me.

" I have caught my daughter and your brother in the gardens, doing the unspeakable"

The king looks to Daemon angry" What do you speak of Vaemond"

" We caught them fucking in the gardens father" rhaenyra shouts before my father can speak.

Alicent looks to me with a sympathetic look.

" And what were you and Lord Vaemond doing in the gardens" alicent asks rhaenyra.

" I- I, we ran into each other when I was heading to my chambers after prayer". rhaenyra speaks fast with a stutter.

The king rises from his seat " enough, Daemon do you plan to marry princess Laenyra"

Daemon turns to look at me, he mouths " Im sorry" before he tells the king, " I cannot marry her your grace I'm to marry the lady laena, me and her father have already made the deal"

More tears rush out of my eyes, he's to marry my cousin.

" Is this true Lord corlys " the king asks.

My uncle looks to me and then the king " Tis true your grace before springs end".

" We will speed the wedding up faster Prince Daemon and Lady Laena shall be married in two days time" Viserys answers.

Feeling my heart break more,  well looking at Daemon with disappointment was all I could do.

" Load of shit, he's to marry my cousin and what about me wheres my happy ending, am I too be dishonored for loving him".  I yell at him.

The king tries to speak but my father cuts him off, " No , you're to be shipped to the north, you are to marry the Lord Cregan stark he will help us from being shamed".

" No, No I won't allow her to be taken from me again" A unknown shout is heard.

Otto Hightower walks from behind the crowed.

" She is my daughter not yours , you have no right to take her, rhaenys how can you just stand there and let this happen" 

I turn to my aunt rhaenys " Wha- What is he talking about"

" I-I was going to tell you laenyra , I just needed time" my aunt speaks with tears well trying to touch my face.

Shaking off her touch, with tears in my eyes " I always knew something was off, when he tried talking to me and you would get upset, I can't believe you" 

Before she can say anything the king speaks " that is enough , daemon and laena shall be married in two days, Princess Laenyra with be going north after the wedding, that is the end of this proceeding".

I look at Otto and alicent before running off to my chambers.

It was early in the morning, laying in my bed weeping quietly trying to process everything when there's a knock at my door.

" GO AWAY " 

there's another knock " It's Otto Hightower princess , I wish to speak please."

Standing from my bed, I grabbed my robe and rush to open the door.

He walks in as I shut the door behind him, heading to my chair I sit then so does he, we sit in silence before he speaks.

" I never ever wanted to give you away, the king and your aunt forced me to leave you with her, I fought for you I really did."

" From the mo- From the moment I saw your tiny hands and your beautiful little face I wanted to keep you and raise you to be the better outcome of me and your mother" he finishes with a stutter.

" What happened then, why was my mother married to Vaemond, why didn't you love me enough to keep me" tears fell from my eyes speaking.

He grabbed my hand before speaking.

" When I met your mother we were just teenagers in love, but we knew we could never be together, I was the hand of the king and your mother was a princess, but we fell in love any way, When I turned ten and nine my father married me too Alerie Florent against my will, it broke your mom to pieces but I was forced to consummate the marriage, me and your mother were still together when we were caught by my wife in the gardens, your mother was forced to marry Vaemond and I was forced to go back to my marriage with my wife, it was around the time alicent was born that I received a urgent message from the king, when I came they told me your mother arrived on dragon back in labor I had no idea she was pregnant with you"

Tears come out of his eyes as he looks to my face " when I got inside to your mother she was already gone , but then I saw you the perfect mix of our love, I tried to leave with you but your aunt rhaenys refused she said it was my fault your mother died and that she was going to raise you on driftmark with vaemond, the king agreed with her and told me to never speak of you at all, so I gave your aunt a necklace to give you so you could always remember your true family the Hightowers."

Pulling him into a hug I sobbed " Sh-she never gave me the necklace, all those years ago , suffering thinking my father hated me and really I had one that loved me so deeply"

" I don't wanna say goodbye, I've only just gotten to know you"

Releasing me from the hug he wipes my tears " You will never be alone again ,I love you with my whole heart and you have siblings a whole family that loves you , we will have many new years together , I shall visit the north"

We sat there for hours talking and sharing things.
