"Hmm....I didn't know there would be a detective here. And from outside the city" commented Sir Fukuzawa. The president of the Armed Detective Agency.
"You're the one solving this case right?" the young-minded Ranpo Edogawa asked me.I nodded. "But, now you're here, I'm not needed here anymore."
I answered him while taking my plastic bag from the policewoman who was with the Inspector and when I passed the Inspector I bowed to him again and was about to walk away.
I was about to put on my headphones when suddenly someone pulled my hoodie from behind. I was surprised and suddenly turned my back. And here I saw that Ranpo Edogawa was the reason for that.
"What?" I asked him.
"Say, you already have a lead on this case, right?" he asked me which made me stop. I removed his hand that was holding the part of my hoodie.
"What about that? You're already there and you're the one to solve it. You're the best detective in Yokohama, aren't you?" I answered him.
He nodded. "Yes I know I'm the best! But didn't you also say you were a detective?" I faced him."After all, you were the first to find this scene. So, you'll handle this case" he said while smiling like a child.
"What does me, being a detective have to do with what you said?"
He raised his hand and showed his palm. Where is the key to my house-wait!
I suddenly put my two hands in the pocket of my hoodie and when I took out all the contents, the only thing I saw was my cellphone and my last lollipop. I looked at him.
"Hey! Give it back to me!" I approached him and tried to grab my house key from him but I don't know why I can't seem to get it from him even though I'm a little taller than him.
"What are you doing? Are you really a detective or a thief?" I said and because of that he grinned.
"Whatever you want to think. So, what? Are you going to solve this case or you're not going to get your house key?" I won't be surprised why he knows the key to my house."Well, no shit, you definitely have the attitude of a mischievous kid." I grinned at him. Because of that he frowned.
"Hey! I'm not a kid!" after he said that, the Inspector and the policewoman next to him covered their mouths.
While President Fukuzawa also covered his mouth but no laughter was heard.
Because of that, Edogawa suddenly threw my house key at me, which I caught. I grinned at him.
"Wow. I didn't know that being a mischievous kid was your weakness" then he looked at me.
"Oi! Take back what you said!" but I didn't pay attention to him.
"Yeah, yeah Mr. Edogawa kid" I answered and approached the corpse and unfolded its white cloth. I heard Edogawa's 'hmph' behind me like a child who was having trouble.
"What a man-child"
I heard President Fukuzawa fake-coughed. "Do you mind if we give you some help?" I looked up at him and shook my head."No, thank you. Besides, I'm about to solve this case" Inspector turned to me.
"Really? Then you know who the killer is too?" I nodded to him.
"Who is it?" President Fukuzawa asked me but I shook my head.
"I'm sorry but I can't say that yet. Because I still need proof." I said looking at the three people who were staring at me. Because we were quite far from where they were, so they couldn't hear what we were talking about.
