Valentines

I woke up to someone patting my head. What the actual fuck? I wake people in better ways than patting their heads... I opened my eyes to see Rain staring straight at my soul, he was maybe half of a meter away from my face, not gonna lie I was scared.
"You up?"
"Nah I'm sleepwalking. I'm scared of you."
"Why?"
"Who the hell pats someone's head to wake them up?"
"Me."
"I noticed, what do you need?"
"I'm bored."
"That's my line, what do you really need?"
"You to be awake. What day is it today?"
"Tuesday."
"Ah nevermind... I need to ask you something."
"Me too. What time is it?"
"7:43am, why?"
"THIS FUCKING EARLY?"
"Yeah, now my question."
"I'm listening."
He pulled out a small heart shaped card out of his pocket and gave it to me. I took it and opened it. Inside there was a text that said: 'Will you be my valentine today?' And at the bottom of the paper: 'Xoxo, your fav bitch, Rain.' When I read that I just burst out laughing...
"So you will?"
"Of course, my fav bitch."
"I had to add something non serious..."
"Mission accomplished."
"I have these flowers for you."
"They are beautiful, thank you."
I put them next to me and hugged Rain in 'thank you' as the said one wasn't enough. After that I stood up from the bed and went to dress myself. I decided to wear a nice dress. I had this tight all black one. I put my hair half up half down and went back to Rain. He was standing there with a cup of coffee in his hand.
"You look gorgeous."
"Thank you."
"I brought you a coffee from the kitchen."
"Again thank you."
I put the flowers in my vase and walked back to the bed. I crouched down and started to look for the canvas.
"Do you need help?"
"Definitely can't be you. I'll do this.."
I finally got the thing and put it backwards, the back of the canvas facing Rain.
"I also have something for you."
"Can I guess?"
"Sure. I bet you won't get that but go ahead."
"Some kind of water?"
"Close enough, it's not that type of water... (If you know what I mean by that.)"
"Hmm, I don't know. Can you just show me already?"
"Of course, here you go."
I handed him the thing and he flipped it. Once he did he smiled wide just like on that photo and turned to me:
"It's perfect. When did you even start working on it?"
"Yesterday. Also ended yesterday."
"That's really impressing. I love it, thank you."
And we both hugged each other like we just didn't done it a while ago. I don't care...
"So are we going to the living room now or what?"
"I wanted to spend some time with you, they still probably sleep..."
"Alright what do you want to do boy?"
"Stare."
"Okay. I'll just go grab my sweater and you can go ahead."
"Why wear a sweater when you don't need to cover yourself?"
"Bitch I'm cold."
"Ah I forgot that it's winter..."
"Dumbass."
I grabbed my sweater and put it on my dress. Not gonna lie it felt weird but looked cute.
"Nice."
"What's nice?"
"You."
"Are you flirting with me?"
"Maybe? Someone has to make a move..."
"Damn good luck."
"Uhh so I can stare now?"
"Sure you can."
If he really wanted to, he'd stare. And he did, I'm sitting on my side for 15 minutes now reading some book and I felt like someone's watching me and I knew who... I mean yeah it's Rain.
"Aren't you bored from looking at me for this long?"
"Not even a bit."
"I want to play it too."
"What? You will stare at yourself?"
"Nah, at you."
I left my book down on the nightstand and laid down on my stomach. I put my hands under my chin and started to stare at the poor boy...
We did this for maybe 10 minutes and I already had enough after 3... I mean he is good looking but my head began to hurt out nowhere.
"Hey I have a question."
"Go ahead girlie."
"Did you ever thought about us?"
"I do every single day."
"Dang you must be tired."
"I'm not, I'm curious about my future."
"Tell me more."
"I always wonder what if Copia ever dies and we will be replaced like the other ghouls? Will I get to continue my way with you or someone from our band? I'm kinda worried about that... What if we all get brutally separated-"
"Rain don't think about that and especially about the last thing. Only what's now matters. And even If we don't go back with each other I will definitely look for you down there."
"It's good to hear you care about this too. I don't have a life in hell..."
"Me too, that's why I would look for you even in the woods."
"Thats why I like you."
I had to take a deep breath in before asking one more question.
"Rain? Did you ever thought about our relationship?"
"Of course I did. It's not the best thing to talk about now but I seriously think it's too early. Maybe not too early but something in the middle. Don't get me wrong but I really think-"
"I know boy, I've been also thinking about this since I first met you but never mind that part... Just tell me when you'll get something."
"Good."
"And promise me that you won't run away..."
"Never, I promise."

We spent half of a day with each other and then we went to the rest of the group. Aether didn't came that day because he was on the phone with his wife. The rest of us spent the evening together talking and playing games. What an amazing group of friends I got.
